Chapter 25
After Bianca fell down the stairs, Isabella immediately ran over to
help her up, clearly worried about her condition.
Who would have thought the truth would turn out like this? Tobias’s
expression instantly grew complicated.
He suddenly remembered what Isabella had said, that she didn’t push
Bianca, that she was wrongly accused.
She really had been wrongly accused.
When Bianca fell, he heard her say someone had pushed her from
behind and almost immediately concluded that Isabella was
responsible.
He hadn’t listened to a single word of her explanation.
Later when Isabella said she wanted to check the hospital
surveillance, he didn’t help her verify it either.
Because, deep down, he had already rejected her. Like Gabriel, he saw
Isabella’s arrival as a threat to Bianca. He loved his sister Bianca
deeply and instinctively refused to believe she could be wronged, so

he simply couldn’t feel any goodwill toward someone who had caused
Bianca pain.
When Isabella first returned to this family, he was completely
indifferent to her, paying no attention.
But Isabella always took the initiative to talk to him, though in his
eyes, these were all tactics to win them over.
His heart was biased toward Bianca, so the more Isabella acted like
she wanted to connect with him, the more resistant he became.
Until the incident of Bianca falling down the stairs – Isabella crossed
his bottom line. In his view, she hurt Bianca and angered him, so
there was no way he would listen to her “excuses.” He even thought
checking the surveillance was unnecessary.
No wonder Isabella suspected he deliberately prevented her from
checking the surveillance, suspected he deliberately framed her, and
said he had a guilty conscience.
From her perspective, she really was “framed.”
Tobias never expected things to be this way. Looking at the evidence
in front of him and thinking about his attitude toward this matter
from beginning to end, a faint sense of guilt rose in his heart.

Did he do something wrong?
In the living room of the Taylor Villa.
“Mrs. Taylor, I couldn’t get Joseph’s contact information, but I got
Ewan Miller’s.”
Yves hurried in, bringing a note with a number written on it to Olivia.
Olivia paused slightly while drinking her coffee. “Ewan?”
“Ewan is Joseph’s son.”
Olivia put down her coffee cup and picked up the note.
That made sense – Joseph’s contact information wasn’t easy to get.
Probably very few people knew it.
“Being able to contact Ewan works too.” Olivia raised her eyebrows,
took out her phone, entered the number, and made the call.
Soon, the call was answered.

A young man’s voice came through. “Hello?”
“Hello.” Olivia made her tone very polite. “Is this Ewan Miller?”
“Yes, it is.”
“Ewan, hello. I’m Mrs. Taylor. The thing is, I heard Mr. Miller’s
contract with the Anderson Family has expired, so I wanted to ask if
Mr. Miller is still taking students?”
Ewan was slightly stunned before reacting. “You’re looking for my
dad?”
“Yes, unfortunately I don’t have Mr. Miller’s contact information, so I
had to bother you…”
Ewan said straightforwardly, “My dad’s contract with the Anderson
Family has indeed expired. He is considering taking new students
recently, but my dad has pretty high requirements for student
qualifications. SAT scores can’t be outside the top hundred in the
city. Does your child meet the requirements?”
Olivia was delighted. “Yes, my daughter scores over 1400 on every SAT
practice test.”
“Alright then. Since you’ve already called me, send over your

daughter’s information and transcript. I’ll pass this on to my dad, but
the final decision is still up to him.”
“Okay, I’ll send it to you right away.”
After hanging up, Olivia quickly organized Bianca’s transcript herself,
even including competition awards, and sent everything over.
On the other side, Ewan had just hung up when he heard footsteps
from outside.
“Dad, you’re back?”
Ewan quickly went over and honestly told him everything from the
phone call.
But Joseph waved his hand. “Not taking students anymore. I’ve been
assigned.”
“What?” Ewan looked at him in surprise. “Dad, what assignment do
you have?”
“William asked me to tutor a girl.”
“Mr. Brown?” Ewan was even more surprised. He actually has this
kind of need?”

Joseph raised his eyebrows proudly. “Right? This is the first time he’s
come to me.”
“Dad, are you going?” Ewan asked.
“Of course I’m going. Why wouldn’t I? Don’t forget, I still owe him a
favor. This favor has to be repaid eventually.”
“But more importantly…”
Ewan’s eyes widened. “What is it?”
Joseph said, “I want to see… what kind of girl could make William
care so much.”
Joseph suddenly thought of something and immediately took out his
phone to call William.
The call connected, and Joseph quickly said, “I forgot to ask earlier –
your girl, how are her grades?”
“Very good,” William said.
“What about her personality?”
“Good.”

Joseph’s eyes rolled. “And she…”
“Good.”
Joseph: “…”
Well, if William could give such definite answers without even
listening to the full question.
She must really be a “good” student.
Joseph breathed a slight sigh of relief. “You didn’t say what level you
want me to bring her to?”
“1500 points is enough.”
