Bianca Taylor wore a white off–shoulder gown. The dress was made of

woven fabric decorated with sparkling sequins, making her look like a

little princess shining among the stars.

Bianca glanced at Isabella Taylor. Once that beautiful face appeared

at the party, she could imagine what a stir it would cause.

She had really not wanted to bring Isabella at all.

Although Isabella came from the countryside, Bianca had to admit

that Isabella’s face was truly flawless – nothing could overshadow her

beauty.

Bianca clenched her palms, and a flash of viciousness crossed her

seemingly innocent face.

Bianca tells herself it is fine.

Soon Isabella would make a fool of herself at this party and become

Olivia Taylor got out of the car and looked at Isabella with concern. “This is someone else’s turf. You better behave yourself and do not embarrass the Taylor Family!”

If it were not for Bianca begging to bring Isabella along, she would

Isabella ignored Olivia and went straight inside.

“You…” Olivia was furious, gritting her teeth. “Ungrateful girl!”

“Mom.” Bianca comfortingly squeezed Olivia’s palm. “Do not be angry. I believe Isabella is sensible and will not cause us trouble.”

The banquet hall was brilliantly lit, a vision of luxury everywhere.

Speaking of which, the Rodriguez Family was originally on par with the Taylor Family, but a year ago, Abigail’s sister Indigo Rodriguez got engaged to Ethan Martinez from the Martinez Family.

The Martinez Family, though not one of the four major families, was one of the powerful families second only to them, far above these smaller households in status.
