From Discarded Wife to Queen (Tyrone) novel Chapter 420

**Obsidian Dawn 420**
**Chapter 420: My Future Sister-in-Law**

The elevator doors slid open with a soft chime, revealing a polished interior that beckoned Aella forward. Just as she was about to step inside, Peyton, with an air of exaggerated superiority, raised her hand in a dramatic gesture, effectively blocking Aella’s path.

The two girls collided, and the doors began to close behind them with a soft whoosh. Aella, fueled by anger, shoved Peyton back with a force that surprised even her. “Peyton, are you out of your mind?” she exclaimed, her voice sharp with indignation.

Peyton’s eyes narrowed as she assessed Aella from head to toe, a mocking sneer curling her lips. “Aella, it’s clear you’ve lived a life of privilege. But let’s be real—your family lost everything years ago. I understand it must be a struggle to transition from a life of luxury to one where you can barely scrape by, but you simply don’t belong here.”

Jenny, standing beside Peyton, couldn’t resist chiming in. She giggled, her laughter dripping with derision. “Look at her pathetic outfit, Peyton. I bet she’s struggling to pay rent. Maybe a job cleaning bathrooms or something equally menial would be more suited to her.”

The two girls exchanged glances, their eyes glinting with malice as they fed off each other’s cruelty. Aella inhaled deeply, her chest rising and falling in a rhythm of suppressed fury.

In a sudden burst of defiance, she raised her hand and delivered a sharp slap to each of them, one after the other.

The sound echoed in the small space, and both Peyton and Jenny froze, their expressions morphing from shock to disbelief.

Peyton’s eyes widened in astonishment. “Aella, do you really think you’re still living in some fantasy? How dare you lay a hand on me?”

Jenny’s face flushed crimson, her anger boiling over. “Do you even have the slightest idea who I am? You’ll regret this, mark my words!”

With icy determination, Aella pointed at them, her voice cold as ice. “Keep talking, and I promise you’ll receive more than just a slap.”

In a moment of reckless bravado, Peyton and Jenny exchanged a glance and lunged at her simultaneously.

Smack! Smack!

The resounding slaps were louder this time, and both girls stumbled backward, crashing onto the floor in shock.

Just then, Raine stepped forward, her presence commanding. She delivered a swift kick to both girls, her voice a fierce growl. “Who do you think you are? You dare to mess with Aella?”

Peyton and Jenny, momentarily stunned, hesitated. But as they recognized Raine—the girl known for her fiery temper in their social circle—they lost their bravado, their bodies slumping in defeat.

Aella cast a cool glance at the two girls sprawled on the floor before pulling Raine close to her side. “Virginia,” she called out, her voice steady.

The elevator doors opened again, and Virginia entered with an elegant poise, her handbag casually draped over her shoulder. She led Aella and Raine into the elevator without so much as a glance at the two girls still on the floor, their expressions a mix of shock and humiliation.

Peyton, now rising to her feet and cradling her cheek, muttered in disbelief, “Wasn’t that witch’s wedding to Mr. Tyrone called off? Why is she still mingling with the Winters?”

Jenny leaned closer, a conspiratorial glint in her eye. “Let’s follow them and find out what’s going on.”

They hurried to another elevator, eager to catch up.

Meanwhile, Aella, Virginia, and Raine arrived at the lavish birthday party. The atmosphere was electric, filled with laughter and chatter. Virginia made a beeline for Aella’s parents, leaving Aella to take in the stunning surroundings.

Aella brightened at the sight of him. “Daniel!” she called, her voice warm with familiarity.

He handed her a beautifully wrapped gift, nudging Aurelia to greet Aella politely.

Aurelia beamed up at Aella, her eyes sparkling with innocence. “Aella, you look so pretty! Will you be my future sister-in-law someday?”

Daniel’s expression turned serious as he glanced at his sister. “Aurelia, that’s enough. Stop that.”

Aella felt a wave of awkwardness wash over her. “Ms. Hill, I’m not worthy of your brother,” she replied, trying to brush off the comment gently.

Daniel quickly interjected, his tone apologetic. “Don’t mind her. We spoil her too much; she has a tendency to say whatever comes to her mind. Just ignore it.”

But Aurelia, undeterred, clutched Aella’s arm and pleaded, “Aella, Daniel never attends girls’ birthday parties. You’re the very first! I did the math—you’ll definitely be my future sister-in-law!”

Aella was momentarily at a loss for words, her cheeks warming at the unexpected declaration.

Daniel, realizing the potential embarrassment, quickly covered Aurelia’s mouth, grabbing her by the collar and gently but firmly leading her away.

Kayla leaned in closer, her voice a conspiratorial whisper. “You know, this Daniel… he might just be the one.”
