Chapter 470 Catching Them Red–Handed
This must be an excuse Daniel made up to get rid of Vinnie.
In the office, Daniel put on his white coat and straightened his appearance in the mirror.
He cleared his throat and said to his assistant, “Have Dr. Reid come to my office.”
Meanwhile, in the Winter Group CEO,
office, Tyrone sat at his desk, staring
his
computer screen.
Aella went to work at the hospital today.
From now on, she and Daniel would be working together at the hospital, seeing each other every day.
But he couldn’t do anything about it.
He could only watch helplessly, hide all his feelings for Aella, and torment himself with endless thoughts.
Tyrone had never felt more useless than he did now.
Noel knocked and entered. “Mr. Winter, I have the results on what you asked me to investigate.”
Tyrone gathered his thoughts. “Go ahead.”
Noel said, “Mr. Fulford did indeed take the Kota Group case in Mudrus. He’s already on the plane.”
Tyrone’s fingers tapped the desk.
After considering briefly, he instructed Noel, “Pick some skilled guards and have them watch Mason’s wife and son around the clock.”
Though Noel couldn’t understand why his boss was so interested in a lawyer’s wife and son, he obediently complied.
After Noel left the office, Tyrone slowly stood up
In their past life, he’d secretly investigated Mason.
Mason had taken the Kotax Group case and made enemies of a dangerous group.

To force Mason to drop the case, they’d kidnapped his wife and son.
Though Mason had dropped the case, his wife was brutally murdered anyway, and his young son developed severe psychological trauma.
It wasn’t until he met Aella that the child slowly began to recover.
Tyrone had witnessed how well Mason treated Aella in their past life.
In this life, he would do whatever it took to save Mason’s wife and son and keep their family intact.
Two days later.
On her way home from work, Aella received a call from her brother asking her to pick up a late–night snack.
While buying her brother’s food, Aella happened to see a woman pass by with a boy around three years old.
Hearing the woman call the boy “Henry,” Aella looked at the child.
With just one glance, Aella recognized him as Mason’s son, Henry.
Aella looked at the young woman holding Henry’s hand.
She was tall and fashionable with a refined demeanor–gentle and beautiful.
Hearing Henry call her “Mom,” Aella confirmed that this mother and son were Mason’s wife and child.
The woman seemed to be taking a call from Mason, her smile warm and gentle.
As Aella looked away to pay and get in a cab, she suddenly saw the mother and son being forcibly dragged into a vehicle by several suspicious men.
Aella suddenly remembered how Mason’s wife had died in their past life.
Mason had told her himself that when Henry was around three, he and his 1. ther were kidnapped. Henry watched his mother die brutally and developed severe psyc.ological
trauma.
Henry was the same age as Zera’s son.
Counting back, it should be happening right now.

Aella dropped the food and quickly got in the cab. “Quick, follow that car!”
Late at night, the cab arrived near an abandoned building on the outskirts of town.
The cab driver stopped and absolutely refused to go any further.
Aella had no choice but to pay and get out.
She’d seen with her own eyes the vehicle drive into the abandoned building. N and son had to be inside.
The situation was still unclear. She couldn’t call the police yet.
Aella had to steel her nerves and investigate the abandoned building herself.

In the pitch darkness, Aella carefully felt her way around until she finally found the vehicle.
Thunderous snoring came from inside the car. No one was around.
Faintly hearing sounds from inside the building Aella was mustering courage to head that way when a dark figure suddenly emerged from the shadows.
Someone covered her mouth and pulled her into a dark corner.
As she struggled to fight back, she caught a familiar scent and immediately stopped.
The noise they accidentally made alerted the people in the car.
Watching several criminals get out of the vehicle Tyrone gestured for silence and slowly removed his hand from her mouth.
Seeing Tyrone, all her panic and fear vanished.
To avoid being discovered, Tyrone wrapped his arm around Aella’s waist and pulled her closer.
Being held protectively in Tyrone’s embrace, Aella resisted pushing him away to avoid alerting their enemies.
Despite the danger, Tyrone cherished this moment intensely.
The criminals, finding nothing unusual, cursed and got back in the car.
Only then did Aella lower her voice to ask Tyrone, “Mason’s wife and son are inside, aren’t they?”
