Chapter 472 Don’t Disrupt the Harmony
Paloma suggested, “Honey, it seems Henry has a special connection with Mr. Winter and Dr. Reid. How about we have Henry acknowledge them as godparents?”
Mason asked Tyrone and Aella, “Mr. Winter, Dr. Reid, what do you think of my wife’s suggestion?”
Aella shook her head. “Mr. Fulford, Mrs. Fulford the godparent arrangement isn’t necessary. If I ever need your help in the future, I’ll definitely ask.
Aella’s refusal was very direct. A flash of surprise crossed Tyrone’s eyes.
Tyrone said, “Mr. Fulford, it was nothing. Don’t take it too seriously. Since everything > resolved, we should be heading home.”
The Fulfords walked Tyrone and Aella out of the hospital room.
Mason said, “Once Henry is discharged, I’d like to invite you both over for dinner.”
Tyrone looked at Aella. Aella nodded graciously. Then we won’t stand on ceremony.”
About ten minutes later, they left the hospital.
By the roadside outside the hospital entrance, the black Bentley slowly pulled up.
Noel got out of the passenger seat and waited respectfully by the car.
Aella’s gaze fell on Tyrone’s injured arm.
She asked Tyrone, “You and Mason aren’t on good terms. Why would you risk your life to save his son?”
Their eyes met. Tyrone calmly looked away.
He said to Aella in a casual tone, “Because I knew you would definitely save them.”
Whatever she wanted to do, he was willing to do it for her.
Aella fell silent.
Even so, she wouldn’t feel grateful to him.
Tyrone looked at Aella with cautious eyes.
He asked her, “I remember you really liked Henry. Why did you refuse to be the child’s

godmother?”
Aella gazed into the distance.
She said, “Because Henry has a mother. The three of them are harmonious and happy. Anyone joining their family in any way would disrupt that harmony.”
Each of Aella’s casual words hit Tyrone hard.
If he’d understood the meaning of Aella’s words earlier, he and Aella wouldn’t have reached this point.
Everything was his own fault.
The pain from the wound on his arm was nothing compared to the pain deep in his heart.
Tyrone swallowed the bitterness in his mouth, personally opened the car door for Aella, and drove her home.
The next morning, Aella had just arrived at her consultation room when Sophia knocked and entered.
Aella greeted her politely.
Sophia rubbed her forehead with a frown. “Dr. Reid, I haven’t been sleeping well these past few days. I came to see you without making an appointment. I hope I’m not disturbing you?”
Aella quickly shook her head. “Please, have a seat”
Michael was a legendary figure in both integrative medicine and holistic medicine. If Sophia wasn’t feeling well, she wouldn’t need Aella’s help.
Sophia was deliberately coming to see her.
She was the Hills‘ eldest daughter–in–law, and the entire Westside Hospital belonged to the Hills. Aella didn’t dare to be dismissive.
Just as Aella was about to sit down, Sophia spoke again. “Let’s go to Daniel’s office for the consultation. The environment’s better there.”
Aella hesitated.
Sophia raised an eyebrow. “Should I have Dr. Hill personally come get you?”
Before Sophia finished speaking, Aella obediently stood up.

That day she’d dropped Daniel off at the Hill Estate entrance and left. The Hills shouldn’t have noticed anything.
The two arrived at Daniel’s office door and heard someone talking inside. Sophia grabbed Aella and gestured for silence.
Aella watched Sophia eavesdropping at the door with such enthusiasm that her jaw nearly dropped.
The beautiful and imposing Sophia loved to eavesdrop.
Sophia didn’t just eavesdrop herself but pulled Aella along to listen too.
Inside the office, Daniel said to Vinnie with a serious expression, “Resign on your own. transfer you to another state. Your choice!”
Vinnie raised her voice in disbelief.
“Dr. Hill, I just brought you breakfast. Is that really necessary?”
Daniel stood at his desk, with Vinnie on the other side.
Daniel said, “I explicitly warned you last time not to bring me anything. I don’t want my fiancée getting the wrong idea.”
Vinnie refused to give up. “I already asked your parents. You don’t have a girlfriend at all. Where’s this fiancée coming from?”
Vinnie continued, “If you bring her here and tell me to my face, I’ll believe you and never bother you again!”
Daniel braced his hands on the edge of his desk, his tone impatient. “Dr. Walsh, you need to know your place. You’re not important enough for my fiancée to come meet you.”
Vinnie was certain Daniel was lying. “If she won’t come see me, then she doesn’t exist. You’re just making excuses!”
Daniel replied, “When we get married, you can come with Mr. Walsh to the wedding reception.”
Vinnie snapped, “Daniel, you!”
Daniel said, “Out of respect for your father, I won’t argue don’t need to come to the hospital tomorrow!”
