Zera let out a crazed roar. “You old hag, shut the hell up!”

Having Leonardo’s baby was the one thing she regretted most in her life. She wished she could’ve strangled that kid the moment he was born, wished he could disappear forever.
And this old woman actually dared poke at her deepest wound.
Shirley threw a tantrum and threatened her. “Well, I’m not helping today. You and that bitch Anna better hand over 10 million dollars as hush money, or we’ll march straight to the entrance of the Hills and make a scene. Let’s see how long you can keep living there with your reputation!”
Shirley’s words ignited Zera like a spark to gasoline.
Her eyes went bloodshot, and like a starving beast, she grabbed a fruit knife off the coffee table and lunged at Shirley’s chest. “Die, you old hag!”
“Murderer! Help!”
Seeing Zera charging at her like a madwoman ready to kill, Shirley screamed and ripped herself free, stumbling and crawling as she yelled for help.
Zera panicked, terrified and unhinged.
When she saw Shirley scrambling toward the front door, she rushed after her and stabbed her several more times in the back.
Only when Shirley stopped screaming and collapsed, completely still, did Zera finally stop.
She stared at the horrifying blood splatters all over the living room and at Shirley lying motionless in a pool of blood. Only then did Zera’s mind snap back into clarity.
“I killed her…”
The fruit knife slipped from her hand and hit the floor with a clang.
Her legs gave out, and she collapsed onto the hardwood.
Then Shirley’s phone started ringing in her pocket. Zera screamed, yanked open the door, and bolted out of the Caldwell Residence.
She was a rich girl from the Hills, she couldn’t get caught, couldn’t let anyone know she was the one who did this.

Chapter 502 A Murder in Caldwell Residence
Not long after Zera fled, Daphne and Julian returned home with their two children.
When Julian saw his mother lying in a pool of blood, he called the police on the
spot.
The next morning, at the Winter Group CEO office.
Noel knocked and walked in. “Mr. Winter, after Zera killed Shirley last night, she fled. Anna and George hid her, and the police have already opened an investigation.”
Tyrone set down his work and stood up. “What’s going on over at the Hill Estate?”
Noel replied, “Julian and Daphne showed up early this morning with relatives and friends to raise hell at Hill Estate. The Hills just held a press conference announcing they were cutting all ties with Zera and would fully cooperate with the police. Mrs. Natasha was devastated and went to Calmwood Abbey to pray.”
Noel made a small gesture, and Tyrone leaned closer.
Tyrone said, “Spread the
news that Mrs. Natasha went to Calmwood Abbey.”
Calmwood Abbey sat in a remote area, with only one road in and out.
It was the perfect place
police to arrest a suspect.
One hour later, in Daniel’s office, Tyrone got straight to the point. “Under the pretense of work, arrange for Aella to leave Vleka immediately.”
Daniel looked confused. “Mr. Winter, what does that mean?”
Tyrone’s tone hardened. “I’m not trying to hurt her. Just find a way to get her out of Vleka. She can come back in a week.”

That day on the roadside, Zera had already realized Aella was the one who tricked her into returning to the country.
Now that Zera was cornered and desperate, going after Aella for revenge was absolutely possible.
Daniel didn’t ask further. “I’ll arrange it right away.”
Tyrone left Westside Hospital without seeing Aella.
About 10 minutes after Tyrone left, Daniel personally informed Aella and assigned her to a business trip to Qruledo. “You’ll depart this afternoon.”
Aella was a little confused, but when it came to work, she followed the hospital’s
arrangements.

When she learned they were also going to Qruledo for fun and had even booked the same hotel, she instantly brightened up.
Meanwhile, Tyrone stood in front of the floor–to–ceiling windows of his office. He read the message from Brad and switched off his phone without any change in expression.
At the same time, inside a room at the Cunningham Residence, George was lashing Anna with a belt over and over.
Anna’s screams echoed throughout the entire house.
All the servants stood outside the door listening, but none of them dared to go in or stop him.
Carlee watched from the side, not only refusing to intervene but even urging him on. “Hit her harder! If it weren’t for this whore ruining my son and daughter–in–law’s marriage, they never would’ve divorced!”
George kept beating her for a long while until he was panting from exhaustion. “That little bitch committed murder and you still hid her. Were you trying to completely destroy the Cunninghams?”
Anna was covered in blood, her whole body trembling from pain.
She gritted her teeth. “Don’t forget, Cunningham–we’re legally married. Husband and wife are one. If I go down, you’re not escaping either
George raised the belt again and brought it down hard on her. “You bitch, you ruined my life!”
Carlee snapped, “My grandchild is gone, what good are you to us anymore? You whore, hurry up and divorce my son!”
Blood trickled from Anna’s lips as she let out a twisted, almost feral smile. “Old witch, I followed your son for years without a title or a name. I finally got that marriage certificate, and you think I’ll just leave because you say so?”
Anna continued, “You want a divorce? Fine. Give me five billion. Otherwise, forget it for the rest of your lives.”
Carlee gritted her teeth and cursed, “Bitch! Even if we sent you to a brothel to be sold by the pound, you wouldn’t be worth five billion. Keep dreaming!”
