Chapter 506 Final Shot at the Docks

She shouted her demand at the police and the Hills. “Let me go, or I’ll take the hostage down with me!”

The officers tried to calm her down, but Zera stated her condition clearly.

She glared at Tyrone, hatred twisting her face. “I want him to personally drive me to the docks!”

The police and the Hills all turned to look at Tyrone.

Tyrone nodded calmly. “Alright.”

Daniel grabbed Tyrone’s arm. “I’m Aurelia’s brother. I’ll drive. Take me instead.”

Zera screamed hysterically, “No! I don’t want anyone else! I want Tyrone to drive me!”

Tyrone patted the back of Daniel’s hand. “I’ll make sure Aurelia is safe.”

He glanced at the lead officer, then got into a police car and started the engine.

When Zera saw Tyrone driving a police vehicle, she pressed the knife harder against Aurelia’s neck. “Get out! I’m not getting in a police car!”

Tyrone answered slowly, unbothered, “My own car’s out of gas. If you want to make it to the docks, this is the only option.”

Zera had no choice, so she dragged Aurelia into the police car.

Tyrone drove the car himself, heading straight toward the docks.

A police officer reassured the Hills, “Mr. Winter is driving a police vehicle. It has a GPS tracker. We can monitor everything happening inside. There’s no need to panic.”

And so the Hills‘ convoy and several patrol cars took turns leading and following, trailing Tyrone all the way.

Late into the night, Tyrone sped down the road with the police car, racing toward the docks.

Along the way, Aurelia cried until her voice was completely hoarse.

Tyrone didn’t move an inch. “Zera, Shirley spent her whole life raising you, and you killed her. Anna schemed for you for years, and she died by your hand too. Natasha brought you into the Hills, gave you wealth, protected you, treated you like family, and you murdered her as well.”

He spoke in an even, quiet tone. “Zera, with all those lives on your shoulders, do you really think you can run?”

Zera was instantly provoked.

She screamed at him, “I never begged them to treat me that way! They did it to themselves! They deserved it!”

Grinding her teeth, she continued, “Shirley was just a greedy old hag. I hadn’t even enjoyed my own life yet and she was already forcing me to buy cars and houses for her son. She deserved to die. And Anna–if she had no money and no status, why the hell did she give birth to me?”

Zera turned violently toward the Hills. “And that old hag from the Hills deserved it even more! If she brought me into the Hills and acknowledged me, then why the hell did she throw me out?”

Her face twisted with madness. “They were the ones who wronged me first. They all deserved to die!”

Police officers slowly advanced. “Zera, the dock is surrounded. There’s nowhere for you to run. Release the hostage now!”

Cornered, Zera screamed at Tyrone, “Tyrone, I order you to start the yacht and take us out of here!”

As long as she held a hostage, she believed she was safe.

Tyrone’s dark eyes locked onto the knife in her Hand.

At that moment, Lilian stepped out of one of the cars, with Sophia supporting her.

Aurelia wasn’t strong, but Zera had been off guard and stumbled backward.

Tyrone, the closest to them, sprinted forward at full speed and scooped the sobbing Aurelia into his arms.

“Tyrone!”

Realizing what had happened, Zera lunged with the knife, aiming straight for Tyrone.

A gunshot rang out. Zera was hit directly in the heart.

Her knife clattered to the ground, and she collapsed right after it.

Everyone rushed forward as Tyrone handed Aurelia back to the Hills.
