She looked up at him and asked, “Why did you rush over here?”

He explained calmly, “No matter what happened between you and Tyrone before, you are my fiancée now. I trust you completely.”

He continued, “I’m grateful to him for what happened with Clyde. I felt I should thank him in person.

“I came in a hurry because the chance was rare. I never doubt you.”

“I’m sorry.”

Daniel’s honest explanation made Aella feel ashamed.

He opened his arms, and Aella gently leaned into his embrace.
