Chapter 550 Crisis Resolve
The scene was a mess. Students crowded around in several tight circles, shouting and gawking.
It wasn’t until a few teachers rushed out that the chaos was finally stopped,
The Dean’s Office.
Aella was told to call her parents.
She leaned against the wall, hair messy, her face stiff with stubborn anger.
At 2:00 p.m., her parents picked her up from school and took her home to reflect.
Miriam tried to lighten the mood. “The company crisis is over,” she said. “When your brother finishes school, let’s invite Brad and Tyrone out for dinner and celebrate.”
The moment she heard Tyrone’s name, Aella snapped. “Don’t ever mention Tyrone in front of me again.”
Then she added coldly, “I’d rather eat with a dog than sit at the same table with him.”
The fierce look on her face shocked her parents. They quickly nodded, afraid to say anything else.
Two months passed in the blink of an eye.
Winter had fully set in. The air was freezing, and there were a little over ten days left before winter break.
The Reid Group had survived the crisis but also received huge compensation from several companies.
New projects were running smoothly again.
During this time, Aella was busy studying for exams. She heard nothing from Tyrone.
Tyrone never once came to find her.
Aella did her homework while feeling wronged and upset.
If she never saw him again, fine. But if she did, she would never forgive him.
One week before Christmas.

Chapter 550 Crisis Resolve
At a little after 8:00 pm. outside the Winter Estate
A black Bentley slowly pulled to a stop
In the back seat, Tyrone spoke to the man beside him. “Thank you for stepping in. I owe your for this
Victor wore a dark suit with a deep red satin shirt underneath. His narrow eyes were half- closed, as if he were about to fall asleep.
He said nothing. Tyrone got out of the car.
Half an hour later, in the living room of the Winter Estate.
Ralph lashed Tyrone several times with a whip. “All this for a woman?” Ralph roared. “You nearly dragged yourself and our company into ruin! Is this how I raised you?!”
Tyrone stood still and took the blows without flinching.
He knew he had acted recklessly.
But if he had to choose again, he would do the same.
Raine saw blood seeping through Tyrone’s shirt and burst into tears.
Virginia rushed forward to shield her son. “That’s enough, Ralph!”
Ralph pointed at her, shaking with rage. “Overprotective mothers ruin their sons! Look at him! He ignored everything for a woman and nearly lost his life!”
Virginia shot back, voice trembling. “No matter how well we do, it’s never enough for you! Tyrone and Raine could be perfect, and you still wouldn’t praise them once. Tyrone lay injured for over a month, barely survived, and you didn’t say a single word of concern!”
She continued sharply, “If you despise the children I gave birth to so much, then from today on, they don’t need a father like you. I’m taking them with me!”
Virginia grabbed Tyrone and Raine and turned to leave.
Ralph threw the whip aside and blocked them. “It’s Christmas in a few days. Where are you taking the kids?”
With red eyes, Virginia answered, “Divorce. I’m going back to my parents‘ home.”
Ralph was in deep trouble. “Dad collapsed from anger because of this and had a stroke. He’s in

the hospital. There’s no one managing the house. Can you stop causing trouble right now?!”
Virginia snapped back. “That’s your father, not mine. Since I married into this family, he’s never once treated me like a daughter–in–law. I don’t recognize a father–in–law like that.”
Ralph was furious and desperate. “The kids are grown now. Are you really throwing this family away?”
“You can live the rest of your life alone!” Virginia said, pulling Raine away.
Ralph stopped Tyrone. “Your mother is furious. Don’t make things worse.”
Tyrone glanced at his father and walked out of the living room.
His grandfather’s stroke was something he never expected.
But he would not use that to force his mother to come back.
His back throbbed where the whip had struck.
After getting into the car, Tyrone placed a small box on the passenger seat beside him.
Justin stood respectfully by the window. “Mr. Tyrone, your injuries are serious. Shall I have the driver take you to the hospital?”
Tyrone glanced at the small box and shook his head.
It had been two months.
All his contact numbers were still blocked by Aella.
She hadn’t unblocked him even once. She must be furious.
When they met, she would definitely explode again.
Tyrone drove to the Reid Estate.
He looked up at the light glowing from the second–floor window and got out with the small
box.
After hesitating at the door, he didn’t knock.
Instead, he took out a backup phone and called Aella.
The call connected. “I’m at the door.” Tyrone said. “Come down.”

Before Aella could curse him out, he hung up.
Aella stared at the unfamiliar number. Then, she shot upright in bed.
After all this time, he suddenly came back from the dead and called her with a new number.
She hadn’t even gotten her revenge yet.
And he had the nerve to show up at her door.
