Chapter 572 The Truth Surfaces

Zera accused Aella, saying, “If you didn’t want to pay compensation, you could’ve just said it. How could you hit someone so casually?”

The vendor couple blocked them. “You were both the ones who took it. If no one pays today, none of you are leaving.”

Seeing drama unfold, people quickly gathered around.

Zera pointed at the lantern on the ground and said hypocritically, “You threw the lantern and walked away–everyone saw it. Regular folks make money with their hands–hard work. I couldn’t stand by, so I spoke up for the vendor. You’re young. Why are you so unreasonable?”

Because of this girl, Tyrone had cut off all contact with her and ruined her reputation, getting her sentenced and expelled from school.

Every blow, she’d settle with this girl.

Before Aella could speak, a young woman who came with Zera pointed at her and testified, “I saw with my own eyes that you threw the lantern. Young and already lying through your teeth. Hitting people at will–no upbringing at all!”

Aella raised her hand and slapped the woman hard. “You’re the one without upbringing. The same can be said about your family!”

It was Christmas; all she wanted was Tyrone to spend the day with her.

She hadn’t expected to stumble into a nest of sluts.

One after another, all trying to frame her.

The woman who was slapped covered her face and stared at Aella in disbelief. “You dare hit me? Do you know who I am?!”

Another person who came with Zera was Jenny.

Though she had never interacted with Tyrone, she knew his identity and had been hiding behind Zera without daring to speak.

Seeing her companion get hit, she was so frightened that she kept backing away.

Aella spat, “I don’t care who you are–dare frame me and I’ll slap you to death!”

That lantern wasn’t worth much.

Since she hadn’t broken it, she absolutely wasn’t going to admit it.

Tyrone wrapped an arm around Aella’s shoulders and gently patted her back.

Though Tyrone didn’t speak, he stayed by Aella’s side without leaving her for even a step.

Tyrone lowered his head, his tone

Slapping isn’t the only one.”

“There are many ways to teach someone a lesson.

It seemed the punishment he’d given last time still hadn’t been enough.

Tyrone took out his phone and quickly sent a message.

Aella glared at him. “That was your ex-”

“She’s nothing to me,” Tyrone cut her off before she could finish. “Once you’ve had enough fun, I’ll teach you how to deal with them.”

Only then was Aella satisfied. “Then, let’s go.”

Listening to the praise from the surrounding crowd, Zera curled her lips in satisfaction. She supported the woman who had been hit and blocked the two of them.

George stormed in and slapped Anna twice, hard. “Bitch!”

Anna saw stars and fell to the floor, completely stunned from the beating.

When she came to her senses, she scrambled up and attacked George. “I stayed with you for years without status or title, and you heartless bastard dare hit me?!”

George impatiently shoved her away and opened his phone. “You slept with someone else for just ten thousand dollars and gave birth to a troublemaker. I really misjudged you!”

Anna hurriedly snatched George’s phone.

Seeing the screen flooded with news about her sleeping with someone for ten thousand dollars and accidentally giving birth to a wealthy family’s daughter, becoming the biggest winner, her mind went completely blank, as if something had exploded inside her head.

After giving birth back then, she had deceived her sister–in–law into raising the child for her.

When her daughter got into trouble, she had no choice but to seek George’s help, lying that the child was born from assault.

George believed her ad helped search for the child’s biological father.

She hadn’t expected the truth from back then to be dug up so quickly.

Her daughter had only just entered the Hills and was still serving her sentence.

Other than the old matriarch, no one in the Hills liked her daughter.

And now, someone had exposed her past and spread it all over the internet.

Whoever it was clearly wanted to bury mother and daughter in Vleka for good.
