Chapter 601 Crash the Engagement
“Did someone actually have the guts to crash the Winters‘ engagement party? This is going to be good.”
The chatter grew louder as Zera lifted her skirt and walked toward Tyrone and Aella, ignoring the stares and whispers.
As long as she was around, Tyrone would never marry that woman. Tyrone was hers.

In the front row of the viewing seats, Thomas, Lilian, and Michael stared as Zera appeared in a white evening gown. Shock rippled across their faces.
Lilian turned to Thomas. “What is this? Didn’t you say she wouldn’t be allowed in?”
Thomas’s face darkened with fury. “I told the butler again and again last night to keep an eye on her and make sure she didn’t leave. I don’t know how she pulled this off.”
Aella and Tyrone exchanged a glance. “I’ll have someone throw her out,” Tyrone muttered.
Aella stopped him immediately. “She’s still a guest. You can’t just kick her out!”
Well, if she was going to leave, she would leave on her own, humiliated and in tears.
From a distance, Aella watched Michael step onto the red carpet and grab Zera by the wrist, dragging her away. Zera yanked free.
Aella sighed softly. She really was the type who wouldn’t back down until she hit a wall.
On the red carpet, Zera tore herself away from Michael and deliberately raised her voice. “Michael, you Hills keep saying you treat me like family, but when I was being bullied, you wouldn’t even stand up for me.”
She glared at him. “If you won’t help me get justice, why are you stopping me from doing it myself?”
The moment the words left her mouth, the room erupted again.
Jenny was the first to jump in. “I heard Zera and Mr. Winter used to date. Looks like someone was juggling two women.”
A woman beside her, Vinnie, chimed in, “If Zera’s daring enough to come here and demand answers in public, she must’ve been badly wronged.”
A younger woman standing next to them leaned in, her voice dripping with secrecy. “From what I know, Ms. Reid was the one who deliberately drove a wedge between Mr. Winter and Zera. She was the third party.”
“Exactly,” another woman said quickly. “Don’t let the Reid heiress’s age fool you. She’s got tricks, dirty ones.”
They traded lines back and forth, and slowly, the tide shifted toward Zera. “Maybe Ms. Caldwell really has a reason. The Hills don’t seem to treat her that well either. If Ms. Caldwell really dated Mr. Winter, then maybe the Reid girl is the mistress.”
“Very possible. I heard the Reid heiress chased him for years, but he never returned her affections. Then suddenly, they’re together. Who knows what she pulled behind the scenes?”
The rumors spread quickly. With a few of Zera’s friends in the crowd fanning the flames, the narrat started openly calling Aella a homewrecker who clawed her way into place.

Tyrone tightened his grip around Aella’s hand, his expression rigid. Aella, on the other hand, watched with obvious interest as if she

were enjoying a show.
The elders of both the Winters and the Reids looked mortified.
Virginia clicked across the floor in her heels and stopped in front of Zera.
The moment Zera saw her, her stomach dropped. She instinctively took a step back.

Virginia didn’t lower her voice. “You tried to set my son up and ended up in prison instead. You’re still wearing an ankle monitor. Where do you get the nerve to show your face at a Winters engagement party?”
Virginia ripped open the old wound in front of everyone, and the whispers surged again.
Zera’s gaze flicked toward the Hills, panic flashed in her eyes.
If Tyrone hadn’t refused to let her go and insisted on publicizing her case, she wouldn’t be stuck wearing the monitor.
