Her makeup and hair were done. She sat on the edge of the bed as Tyrone walked in, surrounded by people. She stared at him without saying a word. She looked calm and elegant, nothing like her usual loud and playful self. She was so perfect that Tyrone couldn’t look away.
Tyrone stared at her, frozen for a second, as he walked toward her.
Along with his excitement, he felt nervous.
A wave of anxiety hit him.
It felt like a dream.
Like it wasn’t real.
He bent down to help her put on her heels. His hands were shaking slightly from how nervous he was.
Tyrone quietly took a deep breath to calm himself down.
Brad noticed how tense Tyrone was and joked to lighten the mood.
“Want to bet? I bet Tyrone is going to be a ‘yes–man‘ who does whatever his wife says after they’re married!”
Everyone laughed.
“No way. Ms. Reid is definitely the one who’s going to listen to him.”
“Exactly. Once they’re together, Mr. Winter will take care of the business, while Ms. Reid manages the home.”
“I’m betting with Mr. Keller that after marriage, Ms. Reid is going to have Tyrone wrapped around her finger!”
They kept teasing the couple, placing fake bets right in front of them.
Aella leaned back with her hands on the bed, smiling brightly as she looked at Tyrone.
Tyrone was wearing a black suit. He looked handsome–a total head–turner.
For once, he let everyone tease him and didn’t stop them.
As long as Aella was willing to be with him, he would let her do whatever made her happy.
At exactly 10 a.m., the Winters‘ convoy, which went to pick Aella and the others up, pulled up to the church.
Tyrone’s parents and their relatives were already at the entrance to welcome them.
When the two families met, Virginia greeted them warmly.
About 10 minutes later, Aella took Tyrone’s arm as they slowly walked down the red carpet into the hall.
All eyes followed them. They looked so perfect together that it sparked a mix of compliments and whispered gossip.

Chapter 600 The Engagement Day
“I heard the Reid girl is a spoiled brat who only has her looks. Doesn’t look like that to me.”
“Anyone Mr. Tyrone chooses must be special.”
“I heard Ms. Reid and Mr. Tyrone grew up together. She definitely had a head start.”
“She’s a solid 10. No wonder the heir to the Winter Group is okay with getting married so young.”
“I heard she chased him for years. Maybe she used some dirty tricks to get him to propose.”

“Exactly. Besides her looks, what does she even have? She studies music–she can’t help his business at all. Mr. Tyrone will probably regret this before the wedding.”
Aella kept holding Tyrone’s arm as they reached the stage.
She heard the whispers, and even though she didn’t lose her cool, she was cussing them out in her head.
They were only just getting engaged, and people were already waiting to see them break up.
Unbelievable.
Aella took a deep breath.
The makeup artist and stylist had worked on her for four or five hours. She had to stay elegant. No way she was going to waste this
look.
Tyrone noticed the anger coming off her.
He leaned closer and lowered his head.
He whispered, “I’ve noted everyone who talked trash about you. After the engagement party, I’ll handle them for you.”
That one sentence made Aella feel better.
If Tyrone said he was going to handle it, she knew it would be satisfying.
Down below, Aella’s parents sat side by side with Tyrone’s parents.
Each set of parents beamed at their own kids with pride, and at the other family’s with admiration.
The engagement party went smoothly. Over a hundred media outlets were there, all rushing to report it.
The host’s voice boomed with excitement as Tyrone picked up the diamond ring.
With everyone watching, he confessed, “Aella, I love you.”
Usually bold and outgoing, Aella felt a little shy with everyone cheering.
