Chapter 613 The Decision
Tyrone looked at Brad. “Tell me. If it were you, what would you do?”

Brad stared at him as if he were looking at something horrible. “So, you’re saying that you hurt Aella in a past life. She never forgave you. Now, in this life, you’re with her again. You’re afraid she’ll remember one day, and you won’t be able to handle it?”
Tyrone nodded. “If it were you, would you hide it or tell her?”
Brad hesitated. It was a terrible question. His brain wasn’t built for the madness Tyrone was describing.
After a moment, he offered the only thing that came to mind. “Either way, you’re taking a hit. If you want to end it cleanly, you have to lay it all out. Let Aella choose.”
Tyrone felt like someone had drained him. “I tried. I hinted at it. She was calm. She didn’t believe me at all.”
If he broke up with Aella over this, he’d hurt her again. He wouldn’t survive it. He’d also have no way to explain it to either family.
Brad leaned back, his expression turning grim. “If you can’t stand to lose her, then you ride it out. When she gets her memory back, you wash your hands of it and hand her the knife. Let her take your head off and be done with it.”
Tyrone shot him a disgusted look. He’d asked all that just to hear this.
If he went along with it and stayed with Aella, everything she still hadn’t remembered would be a ticking time bomb. It could blow up what they have now at any moment.
After Brad left, Tyrone sat in silence for a long time. Restless, he paced the house, replaying every moment he’d ever had with Aella.
The harm he’d done was real. The fact that she hadn’t forgiven him in two lifetimes was also real.
Back then, Aella’s life without him had been complete. She’d been happy.
But now, with no memory of him, she’d given him everything again.
What would happen if she remembered and realized that she wasn’t just engaged to him but had been living happily with him? How shattered would she be? How much would she hate him?
If it happened years later, after they had children, what would she do with that love, that family, that reality? What could he even say?
What would happen to their future? What about their innocent kids who didn’t ask for any of this? He couldn’t ignore those questions.
He stood on the balcony for a long time. Then, something in him snapped into place. He turned and walked into the closet to start changing.
Ten minutes later, he emerged fully dressed, grabbed his keys, and left in a hurry.
An hour after that, he walked out of a hospital, the doctor’s words looping in his head
“Don’t count on luck. This kind of memory loss can be reversed at any time. If you know what the patient can’t bear, be careful.”
In a temporary parking spot by the road, Tyrone sat behind the wheel with both hands clamped tight around the steering wheel,

Even the doctor had told him not to gamble. How could he take advantage of her amnesia, keep her by his side, and take whatever he wanted from her just because he could?
That evening at the Reids‘ house, Aella spent the afternoon talking with her parents. She was getting ready to head back to Bluehaven.
Miriam said, “Talk it over with Tyrone. If you decide to move in, you can always come back later and pack.”
Warren tightened the lid on a food container again and again. “Put this in the fridge when you get home. Heat it up when you’re hungry. It’s cleaner than ordering takeout.”
Aella listened to their fussing with a small, happy smile. “Don’t worry. Virginia already arranged everything. It’s easy for me to come back whenever I want.”
Virginia had said that once Aella moved in, the Winter Estate staff would prepare her meals every day. She would also have a dedicated driver for school pickups.
