With a serious look, he said to Aella, “You knew Zera and Jenny were up to no good. Why did you go upstairs with them?”
Aella replied sarcastically, “Well, Zera is Mr. Winter’s ex–girlfriend. How could the person you picked have a bad personality?”
Tyrone’s face darkened, and the arm around Aella tightened without him noticing.”
“She’s not my ex–girlfriend,” he said.
Aella snorted twice and forwarded the explosive secretly filmed video of Zera and Jenny to Tyrone.
She pointed at his phone. “Consider it a reward for working so hard to find me. Remember to hide under your blanket and watch it secretly.”
Tyrone pinched Aella’s chin, forcing her to look him in the eyes.
With a serious expression, he said, “Delete those gross videos. Promise me you won’t do anything so dangerous ever again!”
Aella leaned closer and met his gaze. “Tyrone, who are you to me? Why should I listen to you?”
After saying that, Aella pushed him away and went back to her seat.
Tyrone was silenced by her words. He didn’t speak again until they reached the apartment.
When they got back, they found that Victor wasn’t there.
Tyrone looked around and realized all of Victor’s things were gone.
Aella took out her phone and only then saw Victor’s message to her.
She said to Tyrone, “Stop looking. Victor went to Tuspuyria.”
Tyrone walked over to Aella, took off the coat she was wearing, and said, “Go take a shower and rest early. Tomorrow’s the weekend. I’ll take you to your favorite breakfast place.”
Aella stood there without moving, staring at him. Then she pointed at the door behind her. “Victor has already left. You don’t need to stay here either. Pack up and leave now.”
Tyrone lifted his wrist and checked the time. “It’s already past ten. Whatever it is, we’ll talk tomorrow.”
He bent down and tidied up his sofa bed.
Aella walked over, grabbed his pillow, and messed up his blankets. “I don’t want to wait a single minute. Leave right now.”
They stared at each other.
Suddenly, Tyrone pulled her down to sit on the couch with him.
Aella struggled and tried to push him away.

Tyrone warned, “If you keep trying to kick me out, I’ll just stay and not leave.”
Aella didn’t expect him to be so shameless. For a moment, she didn’t know how to respond.
She suddenly shoved him away and stood up.
Aella brushed off her waist in disgust, where Tyrone’s hand had touched.
Tyrone couldn’t help but frown. “Do you really hate me that much?”
Aella pointed at him and warned, “Anyone can hug me, but not you, Tyrone!”
After saying that, Aella went back to her room and locked the door.
Tyrone stared at the tightly shut door for a long time before finally getting up from the couch.
Ten minutes later, he came out of the bathroom and answered a call.

Noel’s respectful voice came through the phone. “Mr. Winter, the spies in the neighborhood have been cleared out. Victor has arrived in Tuspuyria.”
Tyrone walked to the balcony and lit a cigarette. “What about the police side?”
Noel said, “Zera and Jenny are insisting that Ms. Reid framed them, but the police have already obtained evidence.”
After a brief pause, Noel continued, “The Cunninghams and the Townsends have already stepped in. The Hills hasn’t made a move
yet.”
Noel added, “Mr. Winter, if we don’t put pressure on the police, Zera won’t be held for many days before being released.”
Tyrone stared into the distance. “I’m sending you some videos. Leak them across the entire internet before tonight.”
After a short pause, he said, “Don’t keep an eye on the police anymore. Let her come out. I have my own plans.”
He hung up, stubbed out the half–finished cigarette, and went back to the living room.
Lying on the wide couch, he clutched the diamond ring Aella had taken off, tossing and turning, unable to sleep.
The next morning, Aella didn’t wake up until almost nine.
After washing up and getting dressed, she went to the living room and saw Tyrone, dressed in loungewear, mopping the floor.
Aella’s eyes widened in disbelief.
Although Tyrone grew up amid his parents‘ constant arguments, he lived a life where everything was handed to him. Even when he ate fish, someone else removed the bones for him.
The first time she ever saw Tyrone do housework was when he hand–washed clothes for Victor.
This was the second time–mopping the floor for her.
Looking at the mop in her hand, Aella even felt that it suddenly looked much more expensive.
She walked up to him and snatched the mop away. “Why haven’t you left yet?”

They looked at each other.
Tyrone said, “Didn’t you say yesterday you wanted to go to the flower market for some plants? I’ll go with you”
Just then, Aella’s phone rang.
She looked at the number and proudly showed it to him. “See? Plenty of people want to take me to buy flowers.”
Tyrone blurted out, “Who’s calling you?”
Aella pointed at the suitcases in the living room. “I want your stuff gone before I get back, or I’m going to lose it on you!”
