Chapter 648 Blocked
Tyrone followed Aella to the door. “I’ll drive you.”
Aella turned around and rolled her eyes at him, then stepped into the elevator.
Tyrone stared at the numbers as the elevator kept going down, then silently turned back into the apartment.
His gaze fell on the couch in the living room. Tyrone took out his phone and made a call.
Not long after, Justin arrived with several servants and packed up all of his luggage, sending everything to Bluehaven.
Before leaving, Justin asked Tyrone, “Mr. Tyrone, do you need the servants to deep clean Ms. Reid’s apartment again?”
Tyrone shook his head.
After Justin and the servants left, Tyrone cleaned Aella’s apartment himself.
He stayed busy until noon, but Aella never came back. He sent her a message and then left the apartment.

For several days in a row, Tyrone focused on his projects, while Aella focused on her studies. The two of them didn’t meet again.
Another week passed…
On Friday night, Aella went straight back to the Reid Residence after practicing her violin.
At the dinner table, Aella noticed worry on her parents‘ faces.
She couldn’t help asking, “Dad, Mom, did something happen at home?”
Miriam and Warren exchanged a look.
Miriam said, “Aella, I heard from your dad that Mrs. Townsend personally went to see Mr. Edwin. The Winters issued a letter of reconciliation, and those two women, Zera and Jenny, were released.”
Aella’s hand tightened around her fork.
On the day of the wedding party, Zera and Jenny had teamed up to set her up.
Tyrone had been so anxious looking for her. Not only did he send Zera back to the police station, but he also exposed the videos she had recorded online, making Zera and her mother notorious once more, and even causing a stir among the Hills, the Townsends, and the Cunninghams.
She thought that even though Tyrone said he wanted to break off the engagement, he still cared about her.
She thought he was helping her get revenge.
She never expected that everything he did was just for show and that he would turn around and hand over a letter of reconciliation.
Zera and Jenny had targeted her, and the one who was almost hurt was also her.
What right did Tyrone have to sign a letter of reconciliation for her?

Aella put down her fork and suddenly stood up. “I’m going to the Winter Estate right now to ask this clearly!”
Warren stood up and stopped her.

Miriam sighed and said, “Aella, Zera, and her mother teamed up with the Townsend’s illegitimate daughter to set you up. Afterward, not a single one of the Cunninghams, the Townsends, or the Hills came to our house to apologize to you. Instead, they all went to the Winters.”
Miriam continued, “Those families never took our Reids seriously. They only held back because you’re the Winters’s future daughter–in–law. The Cunninghams, the Townsends, and the Hills only fear the Winters, only fear Tyrone. If you didn’t have this relationship with Tyrone, those three families would’ve already joined forces to deal with our Reids.”
Warren said, “Tyrone already gave them the letter. Even if you make a scene, it won’t change anything. Let’s just let it go. Stay away from those people from now on.”
Miriam tried to persuade Aella. “Your dad is right. Our family may have a decent background, but we can’t compare with those top– tier families. We can’t afford to offend them, but we can afford to avoid them.”
Aella held back her feelings and nodded. “Mom, Dad, I’m full. I’m going to my room to rest.”
She turned and went upstairs.
She felt like her personality was too loud, and she had offended people, making her parents worry.
On the other hand, her parents were right.
Her parents were kind people. If it weren’t for her relationship with Tyrone, the Cunninghams, the Townsends, and the Hills would’ve long been incited by Zera and her mother to go after the Reids.
But it all went back to the fact that Tyrone had saved the Reid Group from going bankrupt before.
Her parents were grateful to him and didn’t want things to get ugly.
Back in her room, Aella looked at the chair in front of the oversized desk, and scenes of Tyrone patiently explaining problems to her surfaced in her mind.
She couldn’t even count how many times he had frowned and agreed to her weird requests just to get her to do her schoolwork.
Back then, he was clearly so patient with her.
Aella sat on the chair, her eyes turning red.
He kept saying that Zera was his enemy, not his ex–girlfriend.
