The man was on the verge of collapsing, barely managing to stay on his feet under Gray’s relentless blows.
Blood kept streaming from his nose.
The thick, metallic scent of blood hung heavy in the air, sharp and almost suffocating.
But Gray still had no intention of stopping.
His knuckles crashed into the man’s nose with brutal force, and blood exploded out instantly.
“Ah…” The man let out a blood–curdling scream.
His already frail body sprawled motionless on the ground, his face empty and lifeless.
Seeing the guy still acting tough, Gray’s fists itched to keep going.

“If you won’t talk, I’ll cripple you and see how long you can keep that attitude,” Gray growled, yanking the man up again, ready to dish out more punishment.
The man coughed up a mouthful of blood.
He couldn’t take it anymore. He thought, ‘If I kept taking this beating, I’d be dead, nothing else would matter then!
He raised his hands high, pleading, “Please, stop. It hurts so much. I’ll talk. It was… It was Dylan.”
Serena, who had just walked over, felt her eyes widen in shock.
‘Why Dylan again?‘ she thought, her heart sinking.
Gray froze for a moment. ‘Dylan again?‘ he thought.
Serena felt a sharp pain in her chest and called Dylan right away.
After she left, she changed her number. Dylan saw an unknown number pop up while he was busy and almost didn’t pick
But the thought of his missing dad made him answer right away.
“Hello!” he answered.
Serena’s voice was icy as she demanded, “Dylan, what will it take for you to leave me alone? Your son was in the car with me. How could you do this to us?
“I know you don’t care about him, but we’re living, breathing people. How can you keep hurting us over and over?”
Her voice shook with rage and pain.
Dylan froze for a second. “Stella, what are you talking about? When have I ever laid a hand on you?”
Serena felt her heart shatter at his response.
She always knew he was heartless, but she never imagined he’d be this cruel to her.

Serena said, “Dylan, I’m done letting you try to take me out over and over. You didn’t succeed with that car crash, and I’m calling just to say. If you’ve got any more dirty tricks, go ahead, show me what else you’ve got.
“The guy you sent already confessed. He admitted you ordered him to crash into us. He’s going to the cops now. Let the police hear your side of the story,” she added.
Dylan was left speechless.
He tried to explain, but Serena hung up on him before he could say a word.

Dylan shot to his feet. He thought, ‘Is someone using my name to go after Stella again?‘
“Miles!” he called out, his voice sharp.
Miles heard him and hurried in.
Dylan said urgently, “Call this number back. It’s Stella. She says I sent someone to kill her, but she hung up before I could explain. Call her now and find out where she is.”
Miles frowned, thinking, ‘Why does this keep happening?‘
Miles said, “Mr. Ashford, ever since what happened with Pierre, it feels like someone is working behind the scenes to split you and Ms. Hale apart.
‘I’ve always suspected Eliana, but you trusted her so much before that I didn’t dare bring it up. Even if I had, you probably wouldn’t have believed me.”
Dylan frowned, looking at Miles, words caught in his throat.
If Miles had ever said something like this about Eliana before, Dylan would’ve thought he was out of his mind and fired him. right away.
He recalled what Stella had said at his place that day. His mom and Eliana wanted her dead because they were scared she’d learn the truth about the kid,
“Now they’ve done it again and pinned it all on me. But why? What’s their angle?” Dylan wondered.
He finally got what Stella meant that he’d been trapped in everyone else’s lies all along.
A murderous glint flashed in Dylan’s eyes. “Call Stella now! Find out where she is, and if she and Liam are hurt! Move!”
