Dylan was left speechless.

This girl’s got quite the temper, Dylan thought.

‘So she’s Stella’s friend. No wonder she’s so hostile toward me,’ he realized.

Dylan headed outside.

Miles was already waiting at the door. When he saw Dylan come out, he let out a sigh of relief.

As soon as Dylan spotted Miles, he cut straight to the chase, “Did you find anything about what I asked you to check?”

Miles looked a bit lost. “Mr. Ashford, do you mean your mom’s business or Ms. Hale’s?”

Dylan snapped, “If you’ve got answers for both, just spit it all out at once.”

Miles had seen this coming. I am so busy. How am I supposed to juggle all this? he wondered.

“Mr. Ashford, I managed to get the surveillance footage from where the accident happened Miles reported.

“I still haven’t found out who that guy your mom has been seeing. She’s been keeping her distance, worried your dad might cause trouble for him,” Miles explained.

Dylan gave a cold chuckle. “She’s really protective of him. Who knows, maybe she’s got a love child stashed somewhere
