Dylan watched as the two of them walked inside, then sat there for a while, looking calm on the surface, but inside, it felt like waves were crashing in his heart.

He remembered how Stella’s eyes always sparkled whenever she saw him.

His heart was pounding. ‘Am I just imagining things?‘ he wondered.

Suddenly, he yanked open the car door and got out. Under the setting sun, his tall figure looked almost godlike.

He couldn’t help but wonder, ‘If Stella’s out on a date, then who’s looking after Liam?”

He still had no idea where Stella and Liam were living, and honestly, he was totally in the dark about what their lives were like these days.

He stepped out of the car. This place was no stranger to him, a spot known for its amazing traditional food, and Stella was crazy about their shrimp.

He headed to the front desk and asked about Spencer’s private room. The girl at the counter recognized him right away. figured he was here for Spencer, and gave him the room number where Spencer and Stella were hanging out on the second floor.

His feet moved on their own, carrying him upstairs after them.

Not far away, Dylan and Eliana, who had just gotten out of the hospital, came here to grab a bite. Eliana had only passed out earlier, and though the swelling on her cheek had faded, it still ached.

“Eliana, isn’t that Dylan? What’s he doing here?” Yvonne asked, her eyes wide in surprise.

Yvonne was sure she wasn’t seeing things; it was definitely her big brother, Dylan.

Eliana frowned, wondering, ‘What’s Dylan doing here?‘

But right now, she really didn’t want to show up in front of Dylan. He was still really mad.

Every time Dylan saw her, he never looked kindly at her, all because of what she did with Stella’s child.

Dylan was a good guy. He never wanted to hurt Stella, and he didn’t want to hurt Eliana, either.

Now that he realized what they’d done had left Stella completely devastated. It only made him despise Eliana even more.

“Eliana, let’s go check out what Dylan’s doing here. You haven’t seen him in forever, right? How about we all grab a meal together?” Yvonne suggested.

Yvonne was planning to ask Dylan what Spencer had been so busy with lately.

She’d even gone to his office three times, but every time his assistant just told her he was away on a business trip.

That really ticked her off. Three visits and still no sign of Spencer.

She was all set to look for him as soon as she got back, but then Eliana dropped the bomb that he’d fallen for Stella. That was just too much for Yvonne to accept.

Eliana couldn’t bear the thought of Dylan yelling at her in front of Stella; she’d lose all her pride. She still wanted to have some dignity left in front of Stella.

Yvonne narrowed her eyes at Eliana’s timid look. She remembered when they went together. Yvonne took the hit from Gray, while Eliana just stayed hidden in the shadows and never showed her face.

Eliana was the type who always looked out for herself, scared of trouble, and obsessed with money. But that didn’t mean Yvonne liked Stella, either.

Since Stella knew some of her secrets, Yvonne wanted to join forces with Eliana to take Stella down.
