Chapter 225
Blood streamed down her arm, the gash deep and serious.
Chris knew she always kept hemostatic powder in her bag, so he rushed bark to the car so find it
Dylan stared at the blood all over the ground, his pupils dilaring in shoek ella, you need to get to fer hopital. It ca care of things here.”
Serena looked at him, concern flickering in her eyes. “Are you okay?”
Dylan met her intense gaze, a faint smile tugging at his lips. “You saved me, so I’m fine
He had not actually been injured in the crash.
He only got his bell rung a bit from the impact.
Serena asked, “Where’s Miles?”
Dylan frowned, glancing toward the driver’s seat. “He’s still in the car
A flicker of worry crossed Serena’s face.
Dylan watched her, jealousy gnawing at him.
‘She didn’t even look this worried about me, but the moment it’s Miles, she can’t hide it, Dylan thought bitterly
“Ms. Hale, take the hemostatic powder first,” Chris said as he rushed back with it.
He handed it to Serena and helped her take it.
Serena took the powder without hesitation, and Chris quickly grabbed a bandage, wrapping it tightly around her wound
The hemostatic powder worked like a charm, and the bleeding slowed to a stop soon.
Serena pointed urgently at the nearby car. “Chris, hurry up and save Miles. He is his family’s only son, his mom’s only hope. and he can’t get hurt, not on my watch.”
Chris frowned, but still went to help Miles.
‘Guess that boy’s got a decent heart. No way I’m letting him die young, Chris thought.
Serena hurried over, worry written all over her face. Dylan held himself back from reaching out, instead stepping in front her to block her path.
“Stella, you need to get to the hospital right now,” he said, his eyes locked on her arm, still dripping blood.
Serena furrowed her brows and looked down at the wound on her arm, her voice soft. “It’s nothing, the powder stopped the bleeding fast. Let me go check on Miles first.”
Chris yanked open the car door. Miles was slumped over the steering wheel. Chris reached out, checked if he was breathing and finally let out a relieved breath. He turned to Serena and said, “Ms. Hale, he’s still alive.”
Serena also breathed a sigh of relief and rushed over to check Miles’s pulse.
