“But what are you doing here?” she asked.

Zoe suspected Jasper was following her.

He was not just shameless, but also paranoid. Her recent habit of coming home late and leaving early must have made him suspicious.

Jasper narrowed his eyes, scrutinizing Zoe. Seeing her slightly swollen eyes, he frowned, thinking, ‘Is she really just out and about, or is she scheming with Stella?”

“Honey, wait up!” Jasper called, chasing after her. After a few steps, he shot a glare at Serena. “Serena, don’t you dare mess with Eliana’s happiness, or I’ll make you wish you were dead.”

After dropping that icy threat, he finally left, feeling pretty pleased with himself.

He was in a good mood today, all thanks to the hush money Eliana had slipped him.

But he knew he needed to get things moving with Dylan.

Serena watched him walk away, her crimson lips gleaming with a frosty, mocking smile.
