Chapter 321
Dylan would never ruin his future just for treating a woman like this.
He shoved Eliana away, then, with obvious disgust, took out a handkerchief and wiped his hands.
Eliana, in her high heels, stumbled and fell hard to the ground.
“Ah…” She was humiliated and in pain, her face full of disbelief as she watched Dylan’s reaction.
‘He really finds me disgusting!‘ Eliana thought, her heart sinking.
Dylan had never laid a hand on her before. Ever since high school, Eliana had grown up under his care.
Now, she really regretted ever two–timing them.
But Tyler was so handsome, and he knew just what to say to make her smile.
With Dylan, she always felt like there was a wall between them.
He only came to see her because his mom told him to, like it was just another chore.

She thought, ‘At seventeen or eighteen, kids are at their most rebellious, just living for the moment, who’s got time to think about the future?‘
‘Sometimes, people are just a mess of contradictions,‘ Eliana thought. She was scared to stay, scared there’d be no future, but letting go? That was even harder..
She looked at Dylan’s heartless, handsome face and let out a bitter laugh. “Dylan, you’ll never end up with Stella. She’s always believed you love me more than life itself.”
She added, “Dylan, we’re the ones who really belong together.”
Dylan stared at her contorted face, and the way she called his name made him nauseous.
Towering over Eliana, Dylan sneered, “Eliana, I never laid a hand on you, but I did with Stella, and we even have a kid together. For a guy, if he doesn’t love a woman, he won’t even want to touch her.
“So, you know better than anyone whether I ever loved you. The only woman I’ve ever loved is the one who pulled me out of the darkness, and that’s Stella, not you.
“Love me? You think you’re worthy!”
Dylan stood there, domineering, his eyes cold and mocking.
Eliana flinched, looking at Dylan, utterly unable to believe what she was seeing.
Dylan’s leaving felt like a bad dream. Eliana kept thinking that when she finally woke up, everything would go back to how it
was.
She shut her eyes in agony, remembering all those times she’d come back, dressed in skimpy outfits, trying to get Dylan’s attention, but he never once kissed her.
The closest they ever got was when he put his hand on her waist, which was as intimate as it ever got.
Most of the time, it was Eliana who had to close the distance between them.

Chapter 321
That was just how Dylan was. Once he saw someone as his own, he’d have their back for life.
But if one ended up on his bad side, he’d never let go of that grudge, not in this lifetime..

Dylan turned to Beatrice. “Whatever deal you and Hazel have going on, if you ever mess around with Stella’s life again, I won’t let you get away with it.”
Beatrice was stunned, completely at a loss for words.
She stared blankly at the child she’d raised herself, then suddenly yelled, “Dylan, I only did all that crazy stuff because I wanted you and Eliana together.
‘Stella didn’t even die, did she? You’re really going to treat your own mother like this just for some outsider?”
‘Mom…” Dylan let out a cold, mocking laugh, his eyes full of contempt. He said, “Yeah, you’re right. As a mother, you’re not even worth as much as an outsider.
‘Stella nearly lost her life for our family, and what did you do? You let her get infected during her surgery, plotted against her, framed her, and schemed every step of the way.
‘And in the end, you even went so far as to steal our son with this vicious woman. Doesn’t that make you even worse than an outsider?”
Beatrice locked her eyes on Dylan, stunned. She couldn’t believe it. She meant less to him than a stranger.
Beatrice choked out a hollow laugh, tears of anger streaming down her face. “Dylan, I’m your mother! How could you say something like that to me?”
Dylan was just done with her. With his dad gone and his mom willing to throw everything away for Eliana, he just couldn’t figure out why she cared so much about Eliana.
Dylan said, “So, what do you want to hear from me? Don’t you want to know why I showed up today?”
