Eliana wasn’t scared at all. She knew no one could prove she’d stolen Kendall’s designs.

“Seriously, how does someone as shameless as you even exist?” Kendall added.

Eliana clicked her tongue and shook her head, giving Kendall a look of pure disdain. Just look at her, putting on that pathetic, over–the–top act. What a joke,‘ Eliana thought.

“Kendall, you really are naive. Your own husband and mother–in–law have been stringing you along, and you still don’t get it? No matter what kind of evidence you bring, my new line’s already launched,” Eliana said.

“Even if you say they’re yours, I can just flip the script and accuse you of stealing my designs,” Eliana added, mocking her.

“In other words, you’re just too stupid, letting yourself be used to help Stella,” Eliana sneered.

Anyone who helped Stella was instantly on Eliana’s enemy list.

“Mrs. Brett helping me has nothing to do with you stealing our company’s designs. Eliana, do you really think I don’t have any proof?” That cold voice sliced through the air, as biting as the winter wind.

Eliana turned and spotted Serena, rocking a Chanel–inspired winter tweed suit. Her long hair framed her face, making her look even more striking.

Serena wasn’t usually into the whole Chanel vibe, but she definitely had a thing for it whenever winter came around.

Eliana shot Stella a look full of hatred. “Stella, if you’ve got any proof, then show it. Stop spouting nonsense.”

Things had been smooth sailing for Eliana lately. She was sure her luck was turning around, and her future would be nothing but dazzling.

Even standing before Serena, Eliana didn’t back down one bit, her chin up, proud as ever.

Serena arched an eyebrow. “So you took ten designs? Since you love being a thief so much, I’ll just let you have them.”

Eliana froze for a moment, watching Serena with guarded eyes.

“I didn’t steal anything,” Eliana retorted, her voice cold but clearly lacking confidence.

“It’s actually easy to prove whether you stole them or not. Mrs. Brett’s designs have been tweaked a million times; she’s got every single line memorized. Go to the police and sketch them on the spot, we’ll see immediately who the real thief is,” Serena said.

Kendall looked straight at Serena, her tone firm. “Ms. Hale, I remember every design perfectly. Let’s call the cops right now.”

Eliana bit her lip, saying nothing. She’d only glanced at those sketches; there was no way she could actually draw them

Eliana might have snatched those designs, but she totally botched the material selection. She’d never make it work.

All her sales were online pre–orders; once someone bought, the factory would start churning out the products right away..

But when high–end products ended up in Eliana’s hands, they’d get downgraded and dumped into bargain bins.

Kendall knew Serena had a plan, and even though she wasn’t happy about it, she kept her mouth shut.

Just as Serena was about to leave, she looked up and spotted Dylan and Miles.
