Chapter 379
Eliana was taken aback. ‘Seriously? Is Stella some kind of big shot? she wondered.
She walked over with a smile and asked, “Mr. Snyder, what’s going on?”
Nash barely spared Eliana a glance, dismissing her with a wave. “Ms. Lambert, mind your own business.
With that, he went to meet Jonathan.
Eliana stomped her foot angrily. ‘You’re nothing but a butler. How dare you ignore me!” she thought.
Yvonne was genuinely shocked and whispered, “Eliana, is Stella really some kind of socialite from a powerful family?”
She remembered the fancy car Serena showed up in that even the Ashford family wouldn’t afford.
Eliana let out a mocking laugh, her eyes full of disdain. “With a face like that, all she has to do is sleep around, and the money will follow. Isn’t she an orphan? How could she possibly be some rich heiress?”
There was no way that Selena was a rich heiress.
Yvonne immediately took her word for it. The last thing she wanted was for Serena to be above her.
Yvonne watched Spencer leave, her hatred for Serena flaring up again. ‘Seriously, what does she have that makes Spencer want to marry her?‘ she grumbled to herself.
“Spencer is so shameless. He’s Dylan’s best friend. They’re like brothers, and he actually has a thing for Stella” Yvonne muttered. This was the thing she hated most, but there was nothing she could do about it.
The last time she tried to mess with Serena, word got back to the Grant family, and now Chloe wouldn’t even give her the time of day.
Just thinking about all this made her heart ache. There was nothing wrong with wanting a richer husband.
Just as the two were about to go meet the Ellingtons, they saw Nash escorting Sharon out, flanked by two bodyguards, practically dragging her along.
Sharon had clearly been crying, her eyes red–rimmed. Everyone at the party stared in shock at the scene.
Sharon felt utterly humiliated.
She looked like she was being marched to her execution, head down, unable to bring herself to look at
anyone.
Eliana walked over and asked, “Sharon, what’s wrong?”
Sharon shouted, “Nash, Eliana badmouthed Stella, too! Make her come with me to apologize!”
Eliana had just wanted to look like the good guy, but she never expected to get dragged into the mess herself.

Chapter 379
“What? Apologize?” Eliana looked at Nash warily.
Nash knew Eliana and Serena had bad blood. “You don’t need to go. Your apology is too cheap. Ms. Hale doesn’t need it.”
Eliana felt utterly humiliated. Being dismissed like that was even worse than being asked to apologize to
Serena.
She put on a fragile, pitiful expression, hoping to win some sympathy. “Mr. Snyder, what are you talking about? What did I do wrong?”
Nash had seen plenty of those women who pretended to be weak, the kind everyone wanted to protect
But in his eyes, women who played the helpless card were nothing but poison underneath.
“Alright, stop getting in my way. Do whatever you want. Nobody’s stopping you,” Nash said, brushing her off.
Nash took Sharon to see Serena.
Serena and the others weren’t at the café. They were having dinner at the restaurant on the sixth floor.
Serena loved shrimp, but they were already peeled, so Dylan’s wish to peel shrimp for her was dashed once
more.
Dylan and Spencer took seats on either side of Serena.
Both of them served her shrimp at the same time.
Serena let out a helpless laugh. “Come on, you two, stop trying to serve me. I’m not a little kid. I can grab my own food. Just eat your own dinner.”
She shot them a look, nudging their hands away so they’d take their shrimp back.
Spencer glanced at Dylan.
Dylan met Spencer’s gaze.
As their eyes met, neither man who loved Serena was willing to give an inch.
Spencer went ahead and dropped the shrimp into Serena’s bowl. “Serena, I remember you love shrimp, especially this stir–fried kind. Eat up.”
“Thanks!” Serena accepted it. Honestly, all this fuss over dinner was just tiring.
Dylan shot Spencer a fierce glare as he watched the shrimp back on his plate. ‘How can he be so shameless? Serena’s his ex–wife, Dylan thought angrily.
