Dylan felt awful and didn’t want to deal with anyone.

His mind involuntarily drifted to Stella. Whenever he felt even a little off before, Stella would notice and give him a massage treatment or prepare healing meals.
He pictured Stella’s worried face. He furrowed his brow slightly, thinking, ‘It’s strange. When Stella was here, I hated how she took Eliana’s place. But now that she’s gone, I keep thinking about how good she was.
Eliana’s words made Dylan feel guilty. Lately, because of everything with Stella, he hadn’t spent enough time with Eliana.
“Eliana, I’m heading back for now. I’ll come by tomorrow to have dinner with you and the kids. Don’t worry about your dad’s situation,” Dylan’s voice softened without him realizing it.
Seeing how Dylan genuinely cared about the Lambert family’s issues made Eliana happy. She gently replied, “Dylan, all this running around is exhausting. Just stay here and rest. We will get married sooner or later—”
“Eliana, let’s talk about this after your family’s problems are settled. I still have to meet your dad tonight,” Dylan interrupted, looking down at Liam in his arms, who stayed quiet.
Dylan put Liam down and left.
Here, Dylan always felt like he couldn’t catch his breath.
Outside the Ashford mansion, he gazed at the brightly lit night skyline, yet inside, his heart felt empty.
‘There are my child and the one I love right behind me, so why do I feel like this?‘ Dylan thought sharply, a bitter smile curling his lips. ‘It must be because I’m still not used to Stella being gone!
His eyes flickered with complexity, then he forced a casual smile. ‘Maybe with time, I’ll get used to it.‘
Still, Dylan went to see Jasper.

At the lounge, the two sat facing each other.
Jasper sized up Dylan, whose aura was very powerful. He knew Dylan was cunning and ruthless. If it weren’t for Eliana giving the Ashford family an heir, Jasper would’ve lost everything this time.
Dylan ordered a fine drink for Jasper.
Jasper, unsure what Dylan was aiming at, took a sip. It was excellent, sweet, rich, with a slightly sweet aftertaste.
“Good wine,” Jasper smiled.
Dylan nodded toward the three glasses on the table. “Mr. Lambert, look at those three glasses not far from us.

“White wine usually appears lemon, gold, or amber. As it ages, the color deepens. Red wine shows shades from ruby to garnet. Rosé wine takes on salmon or orange hues. These three glasses are authentic wines I personally brought.”
He added, “And those three glasses over there are from your production. Take a look at their colors, taste them, and you’ll know if the wine is real or counterfeit.
“By observing color and scent, you can judge the aroma, intensity, and complexity. You won’t find these qualities in counterfeit wine.”
Dylan’s face darkened as he continued, “You know full well you’re selling counterfeit wine. This is the last time I’m helping the Lambert family, out of respect for Eliana saving me back then.
“If there’s a next time, I won’t lift a finger. You must guarantee that every bottle you supply to our bar is 100% genuine.”
After the warning, Dylan stood up lazily. Ignoring Jasper’s pale expression, he strode out of the private room.
Jasper’s face turned grim. ‘What does Dylan mean by this? Eliana just gave the Ashford family a healthy baby boy. How dare he?‘ he wondered.
Narrowing his eyes with a ruthless glare, Jasper thought, ‘This is all Stella’s doing. Stella has cost the Lambert family dearly. I won’t let her off easy.‘
He took out his phone and made a call.
“Hey, Mr. Lambert, long time no hear,” said the voice on the other end.
Jasper sneered viciously, “Cut the crap. Help me teach someone a lesson.”
The other person’s interest piqued suddenly. “Who?”
