Chapter 47 Nice Meeting You, Tyrone

“Found you,” he said, and I looked up to see him staring down at me.

He drew me up with him, and I was still looking up at him; that was how tall he was.

“We are really doing this?” I whispered, and he nodded slightly.

“Yes, we are, all the way,” he replied and looped my arm around his.

With that, we both turned and started walking back onto the stage, and then I heard a shriek.

“How is this possible? She can’t be the Queen. Because she saved a few lives?” I knew that voice anywhere. It was Summer.

I knew this day would not go by without her causing unnecessary drama.

“Excuse me?” I said.

“You heard me,” she said, standing up from her seat. Then she started walking towards me briskly. Of course, she wanted to cause some drama; she knew that none of what she was doing right now would get her the position, but she just wanted to be dramatic

There is nothing about you that is Queen–like,” she said and faced Damon. “Your Majesty, I assure you that you’re making a mistake, you can’t make her your Queen: she’s ordinary, there is nothing special about you. She doesn’t know anything about the trend that people are aware of now. She can’t help boost anything but I can,” she said, blinking her eyes like a puppy to Damon.

“You’re suggesting I make you my Queen?” Damon asked her, and she nodded with a bright smile on her face.

“You’re getting the whole point now, Your Majesty. I am a great asset that will help this pack,” she said.

“How?” Damon asked.

“Excuse me?”

“I asked how you can be an asset to this pack, because if you don’t know, this lack is slowly turning into the capital of this realm. So I know a lot of things I can gain from Eloise here, but I don’t know about you, so can you enlighten us?” Damon asked, and the crowd laughed.

“U–umm, I bring a lot of things to the table. Like fashion, the trends, t-”

“Anything other than social media?” He asked her.

“No, I bring a l-”

“You can’t even mention a resource that you can bring to the table. So you can see yourself that you’re a waste, Eloise has a lot of use that you don’t. So please, let’s ignore this whole issue.” Damon said and turned around with me in his arms.

“Why is it always you????” she screamed, and the next thing I knew, she was charging at me, having changed into her wolf form. I was about to sprint forward and attack, too, when Damon held me back.

“Let me fight the battle, ma. Just stand there and look pretty for me,” he said, and the next thing I knew, his claws emerged from his nails, and he had Summer’s wolf by the neck. I heard bones cracking as he squeezed her neck.

Summer’s paws were kicking in the air as Damon held her up.

“What were you trying to do? Are you trying to attack my Queen in my presence? Are you mad? Do you have a death wish?”

He was squeezing the life out of her neck, and his claws were deep in her neck, and she could die any moment from now. I didn’t want her to die. I wanted to humiliate her while she was alive. She didn’t deserve the comfort of death.

After a few seconds, I squeezed Damon’s arm.

“Please, don’t kill her,” I said, and he looked at me while still holding her up.

“Are you sure, darling?” he asked, his voice wasn’t exactly his anymore. His wolf had taken over, and I could tell by his voice. I didn’t see his eyes, but I knew it. He called me darling, and Damon doesn’t call me that.

Well, what a meeting! This was the first time I was meeting him, and he was trying to kill someone for me.

“Yes, I am. Please release her.” I told him, and he dropped her down into the grass. The crowd let out a gasp of relief. They must have all thought he was going to kill her. Hell, I felt so too.

“Thank you,” I told him, and I saw my parents and my brother rushing forward to carry a bleeding and unconscious Summer somewhere I don’t know.

“You’re a bastard,” my father said before storming off.

“Are you sure you don’t want me to finish off your family right now? They are pissing me off, darling.” Damon’s wolf said as he brought out a black handkerchief to clean off the blood staining his hand.

“Nope, I’m good. Nice to meet you.” I whispered as we continued our walk to the stage.

‘Same here, darling, the name is Tyrone.”

“Thats quite the name,” I said with a laugh, and he nodded.

“I know. Damon is already fighting for control, so I’m about to leave before he loses his mind. We will meet under better circumstances later?” he said, and I nodded.

“Sure, Tyrone,” I said, and in a second, I just knew changes had been made.

“Are you okay, ma? Tyrone can be overbearing,” he said, and I just laughed.
