After parting ways with Jonathan, Kade Walked over to me. “Noah called. He wants to adapt ironvale Group’s technology for battlefield medicine.”
“That’s exactly what I hoped for when I started developing,” I said, a wave of pleasant surprise washing over me. “But…“.1 lowered my voice, adding, “I have three conditions.”
Kade raised an eyebrow, gesturing for me to go on.
“First, all military tech must be adapted for civilian use at the exact same time, especially in battlefield hospitals across the remote packs.” I held up a finger. “Second, I must personally train the military doctors on how to use the system.”
I paused for a moment before stating firmly, “Third, all medical data gathered from treating wounded soldiers must be shared anonymously with the central medical database.”
The corners of Kade’s mouth curved upward. “That’s it? The military was actually prepared to surrender thirty percent of their profits.”
I shook my head. “I don’t care about a profit split.”
I looked out the window at the children playing outside. “I just want this technology to save as many lives as possible.”
These kids hadn’t even had the chance to awaken their Wolf Souls, experience that incredible burst of power, or find their fated mates. I refused to let illness steal their futures away before they even started.
Kade stared at me for a beat, a look of sudden realization dawning on his face. “You were waiting for the military to approach you all along, weren’t you?”
“Of course,” I replied with a sly smile. “What better proof is there of our group’s medical tech than the battlefield?”
Kade offered a look of pure admiration.
Soon after, the second live stream of the children’s hospital clinic commenced.
In front of the cameras, Dr. Beyond and I sat at adjacent diagnostic stations, treating patients side by side. The viewer count had already cleared two million, the live chat a relentless blur of scrolling messages.
“Next, please,” I called out warmly.
A travel–weary Omega woman walked up, teading a thin, frail boy by the hand. The boy was deathly pale, his chest heaving violently with every labored, wheezing breath.
“Nira… I’m Sarah,” she said, nervously wringing her calloused hands. “We traveled for two days by train from the pack borders to get here. The witch doctors back home said his asthma is incurable…”
I gestured for them to sit down, keeping my voice gentle. “What’s his name? And how old is he?”
“His name is Leo, he’s eight,” Sarah said, wiping the corner of her eye. “He’s had this asthma since he was a baby. It flares up every single winter…”

tightly took the boy’s slender wrist, carefully reading his internal energy while performing the examination.
After a brief moment, I retrieved a beautifully crafted case from my medical kit. “This is a specialized asthma medication formulated myself. Have him take one pill with water.”
Her hands trembling, Sarah took the pill and carefully helped her son swallow it.
Once Leo took the medicine, his breathing gradually stabilized, and the blue tint on his face began to fade.
“Go ahead and rest in the observation area for half an hour,” I said softly. “If everything looks good, I’ll write up a prescription for you to take home.”
Pouring out endless thanks, Sarah led Leo toward the observation area, pausing for what seemed like just a moment as they passed Dr. Beyond’s station.
Thinking nothing of it, I turned my attention back to the next patient in line.
Suddenly, Leo erupted into a violent coughing fit in the observation area, before gagging and spitting up a dark, gelatinous mass.
“Leo! What’s happening to you?!” Sarah screamed in a panic.
Dr. Beyond practically leaped from her station and rushed over. “Let me look at him!”
She grabbed the boy’s wrist, her eyes scanning him up and down before she barked out, “These are clear symptoms of drug poisoning!”
The onlookers and the live stream chat erupted instantly.
[Oh my god! Did Nira give him the wrong medicine?]
[No way, this is terrifying!]
[Looks like Nira is just a fraud after all.]
“Leo has been poisoned by the medication, and it’s extremely severe!” Dr. Beyond declared righteously. “I demand an immediate laboratory test of his vomit! Let the truth be brought to light!”
She turned squarely to the cameras. “I’ve practiced medicine for a decade, and as a natural–born healing werewolf, I never misdiagnose!”
