I gritted my teeth, glaring at Kathleen. “What issues when he himself also didn’t know what issues he had?!”

Kathleen smiled, her eyes twinkled in delight. “I’m sure you have already reviewed your past actions, your thoughts about him that you couldn’t name before, and other things why you felt that way towards him by now. How was it? Am I correct or not?”

Nick looked at Kathleen in amazement. “You guessed it right. Are you a witch by chance?”

She chuckled and didn’t deny it. “Perhaps?”

Well, they did have witch blood running from their veins.

Nick sighed helplessly, rubbing his temples. It was the first time I’ve ever seen him this helpless and saw his cold expression cracked.

“I see…” He sighed helplessly, burying himself to drink the juice. “But what about it?”

Nick shook his head. “I’m already content with what we have and I don’t want to ruin it just because I realized something I shouldn’t have towards him.”
