Gold Moon Mated To The Beta Twins (Meadow) novel Chapter 493

Chapter 493 The End (1)

On the way back, Stella immediately donated the money she’d hustled to an international children’s charity. When she looked up, she caught Sebastian with his lashes lowered.

Her hand froze, and she felt a pang of tenderness. “Why do you still let him pull that stunt on you?”

Sebastian glanced at her. “He’s family.”

John, who was driving, kept quiet. After all, he could still hear Mr. Gray’s words, “Just run him over,” echoing in his mind.

‘Humph, Men,’ He thought.

Stella teased, “When I first met you, I never would’ve guessed you were such a softie.”

Sebastian didn’t say a word.

After a moment, Sebastian furrowed his brows, looking all serious, but his eyes kept dodging hers, a little sheepish. He said earnestly, “People grow up, you know.” He glanced at her, then gave a small, self-assured nod, almost muttering to himself, “Yeah, I’ve grown.”

Stella just ignored it.

John rolled his eyes.

‘Man, I’ll always miss the old Mr. Gray, back before he got all mature, John thought to himself.

Stella finally spoke up, shooting Sebastian a lazy thumbs-up. “Well, look at you, so impressive.”

She managed to find her voice and tossed Sebastian a super half-hearted thumbs-up, like, “Good for you, I guess.”

Sebastian was speechless.

Outside the car, a soft rain had started falling without anyone noticing. Stella leaned her head on one hand, looking lazily out the window. Next to her, Sebastian sat half in shadow, watching her side profile.

His fingers kept slipping into his pocket, like he was hesitating to take something out.

“The old geezers wanted me to tell you something…” Stella said out of the blue, her tone flat. Her words made Sebastian’s heart skip a beat. He froze, hand halfway to his pocket.

“What?” he asked.

“They wanted me to tell you they’re happy to see you,” Stella said, her tone flat,

‘Well, except for Geezer, she added silently.

Stella turned her head, her soft curls framing her fair cheek, taking away all her sharpness.

Sebastian, who’d been holding his breath, finally relaxed, the tension melting away from his shoulders.

“So, you’re not leaving, right?” he asked, his voice uncertain.

Stella met his gaze, catching the hope in his eyes. She let out a soft laugh. “That depends on how you behave.” The next day in Jaffina, a grand celebration was about to kick off at a hotel owned by Nova Group.

Actually, since the afternoon, this tenth anniversary bash had been trending everywhere in Clusia.

And it wasn’t just because Nova Group was celebrating ten years and finally revealing its three founders for the first time, the whole venue looked like something straight out of a fairy tale for girls.

From the afternoon on, imported Bulgarian white and pink roses mixed with clouds of baby’s breath were piled up endlessly at the hotel entrance.

Each rose was plump and delicate, still waiting to bloom, and the whole business district was filled with a fresh, elegant scent.

Reporters had been camping out in waves since noon, staking their claim for the best scoop.

Chapter 493 The End (1)

Meanwhile, the Nova Group team had brought in tons of cosplayers from all over the country to mark Nova Legends smashing through 15 million daily players.

The place was absolutely hopping.

Night fell over the grand ballroom.

Glamorous guests mingled, their elegant attire and dazzling looks lighting up the room.

Jaffina’s high society had all gathered here, along with die-hard fans who’d been lucky enough to get an invite to Nova Group’s tenth anniversary bash.

Tonight, though, everyone had their own agenda.

Everyone was itching to see if that notorious “bad girl” Starfall would really make an appearance.

And they were dying to know if Moondust was actually one of Nova Group’s three legendary founders. “Dr. Miracle!!!” The crowd barely had time to react before someone came barreling toward Stella like a hyperactive monkey.

But before he could reach her, someone snatched him by the scruff of the neck, stopping him in his tracks. “Dad!” Charles groaned, rubbing his temples. ‘Seriously, when is the old man gonna stop losing his mind every time he sees Stella? It’s fine when it’s just us, but with all these people watching, it’s kinda embarrassing, he thought.

Landen was clawing at the air, looking all pitiful as he gazed longingly at Stella, who was just out of reach. ” Please! Please!”

Charles was amazed.

Charles took a deep breath, trying not to lose it.

After that little scene, all eyes in the room turned to Stella.

Everyone was instantly captivated.

Stella was wearing Denim Kraft’s iconic “Starry Night” gown, every inch of it hand-stitched with tiny diamonds that shimmered like a galaxy with her every move.

Her loosely pinned, wavy hair was held in place by a diamond hairpin, accented with Denim Kraft’s exclusive diamond accessories. That effortless, laid-back aura she carried only made her seem even more mysterious. And right next to her was a little boy, looking like a porcelain doll, so delicate and perfect, he seemed carved from jade and snow.

The players were stunned.

When Stella’s long lashes fluttered, the crowd was instantly stunned. Everyone just stared, totally dumbfounded.

They thought, ‘Wait, who’s that…?’

‘Who is that kid?’ everyone wondered, their minds going blank.

“Here,” Stella said, casually raising her hand and handing Landen the thing she’d been saving just for him. Landen’s eyes sparkled. He shook off Charles’s hand and hustled over like an old engine chugging along, cupping his hands to receive it. “Big treasure! Big treasure! If Dr. Miracle gives it to me, it’s gotta be a real treasure!”

He opened the box.

Landen just lost for words.

He didn’t react for a long moment.

“Dad?” Charles called out, sounding a bit concerned. But then Stella’s laid-back voice floated over.

“Better give him a hand,” she said, totally unfazed.

Charles said, ‘Wait, what?’

Emily gave him a look and glanced up. “Uh… I think Mr. Landen just passed out on his feet!”

Charles was amazed.

Emily craned her neck, curiosity getting the better of her. Inside the little box was a tiny sprig that looked just like an asparagus fern, except it was a super rare shade of purple, shimmering and fading as the light hit it.

Her jaw practically hit the floor. ‘Wait, is that… Violet Bamboo?’

Landen sucked in a breath like he was inhaling pure fairy dust, snapping back to life. Tears welled up in his eyes as he stared at Stella. “Dr. Miracle, you really are a fairy!”

He slurped it up in one quick motion.

He even snorted up his snot for good measure.

When Charles finally saw what was inside, his jaw practically hit the floor.

He honestly never thought Stella gave them this.

This was the kind of treasure one couldn’t buy, no matter how much cash one threw at it.

“Thank you,” Charles said, his voice full of gratitude.

Stella lazily lifted her gaze, murmured a careless “Mm,” then turned to Emily and asked, “Where’s Blake?”

Emily shrugged. “He was talking about something with the game and his guild, I think. Maybe some buddies from the game called him away.”

Honestly, she was just nodding along. She had no clue what any of that meant.

Stella didn’t really care, but just then, Lucas suddenly tugged on her finger and pointed at the cake table.

He pouted, looking all pitiful.

“I’m hungry!” he whined.

Stella gave a quick wave to the others, took Lucas by the hand, and headed for the food table. She was just handing him a piece of cake when a shadow suddenly fell across her. Looking up, she found herself face-to- face with two familiar people.

“S-Stella!” Chadwick stammered, his whole face lighting up with excitement. Standing next to him was Declan, looking a bit stiff in his custom suit, clearly not used to this kind of fancy crowd.

But the moment he saw Stella, he pressed his lips together, and for the first time since stepping into the room, his shoulders finally relaxed.

Stella was speechless.

‘What a bad nickname, Stella thought, rolling her eyes.

“So you came back after all,” Stella said, glancing at Declan with a casual tone,

Declan replied, his voice low and honest, “Thank you.”

His sharp, good-looking face was nothing but sincere gratitude.

Stella raised an eyebrow. ‘Is it just me, or is everyone lining up to thank me today?’ she thought. “For what?” she said.

“Thank you for having Jaxon, my uncle, take my mom away early. And for the medicine you gave… It helped my grandpa pull through,” Declan said, his voice catching for a second.

He continued, “Now that my uncle and I are working together, nobody can mess with Chadwick.” Still, it meant Declan had to go back to the Knight family, the one place he’d always hated most. Declan looked at Stella, something complicated flickering in his eyes, gone in a flash before anyone catch it.

could

Ever since she left Haliville, he’d been putting in real effort to dig up any news about her, never missing a beat. He’d lost count of how many times he’d pictured running into Stella again in Jaffina.

Chapter 493 The End (1)

He kept wondering how it would happen, what the moment would look like.

But when the moment finally came, Declan couldn’t help but feel a strange emptiness, like something was missing, even though he’d finally gotten what he’d been waiting for.

Stella flashed him a smile. “Congrats.”

She tipped her glass his way, barely a toast.

“From the moment you stepped into Jaffina, Declan, you’re finally free.” Her tone was soft but sure.

Declan froze for a second.

It finally hit him what she was hinting at: the Knight family.

‘Guess it’s all gonna go to Jaxon in the end,’ Declan thought.

Declan lowered his head, a soft, relieved laugh escaping him. “Thanks.”

Chadwick, meanwhile, was totally lost, glancing back and forth between Declan and Stella.

Even though he had no idea what was happening, he just smiled brightly and raised his glass with them.

Stella took a sip, her eyes landing on Jaxon, who was standing not far away, brows drawn as he held a glass of champagne.

Tomorrow, he’d be announcing his engagement to Cassie, and if anyone tried to make a fuss about it, he was more than ready to turn the Knight family into a battlefield.

When he caught Stella looking his way, he gave her a nod and raised his glass.

“Boss!” Joey yelled, spotting his real old man across the hall. He was rocking a sharp suit, his face sun-kissed and dark from a few days off at home.

Now that he was back, he looked recharged and full of energy. The second he walked in, his eyes locked onto his dad, and he dashed over in a heartbeat.

Screams erupted from outside the venue, had everyone peeking out to see what the fuss was about.

And there he was, the hottest, most famous Callum, strolling in with his grandpa Paul, while fans lost their minds and shrieked like crazy.

Before anyone could even process it, the two of them made a beeline straight for Stella. And right after, the whole VIP squad rolled in: Levi, the director of Kinetic University Tech Research Institute.

Victor, the legendary nuclear physicist known as the backbone of the nation, and Bernard, the big shot you only ever saw on the evening news, plus his son Salem, all of them showed up in style.

Suddenly, the whole room went quiet. The business moguls who’d been chatting away just moments before fell completely silent, and even the Nova Legends players, who didn’t recognize any of these VIPs, picked up on the mood and hushed up too.

Everyone watched in shock as these industry giants headed straight for Stella, doting on her like she was their own granddaughter. People who’d seen these big shots at other events were absolutely floored, their jaws practically hit the floor.

“Hey, Arrogant Wind, who is she?” one of Blake’s guild buddies from Nova Legends couldn’t resist asking. “My Stella!!!” Blake shouted. He was still holding his champagne glass, but before he could say a word, Jenna, his little sidekick, was already beaming with pride as she answered for him.

Jenna was riding high these days, ever since he got those lon Wing Drones shares, his status in the family had shot through the roof.

Even his stepmom, who used to give him the cold shoulder and throw shade, was suddenly all smiles and sweetness. All thanks to Stella.

“Star? As in Starfall?” one of the guild members teased.

Everyone in the guild started teasing him.

Chapter 493 The End (1)

Jenna was speechless.

Jenna thought, ‘If they didn’t mention it, I would’ve almost forgotten how Stella and I started out fighting before becoming friends. He shot Blake a quick look and stayed quiet.

“But wouldn’t it be awkward if you ran into her?” another guild member teased.

Blake froze for a moment.

‘Not at all!’ Blake shot back in his mind.

He thought, ‘Honestly, the thing I’m most thankful for in my whole life was Nova Legends.

‘If it hadn’t been for that game, by some crazy twist of fate, I never would’ve gotten mixed up with Stella, and step by step, ended up where I am now.’

“I bet Starfall doesn’t have the guts to show up!” The words cut through the hall, which had gone quiet after all the VIPs showed up.

Blake and the others turned to see a girl dressed up like a social media influencer, phone held high, clearly livestreaming.

Blake frowned.

Livestreaming was strictly prohibited at tonight’s Nova Group event. Blake had no idea how she’d managed to get her phone past security.
