WE CAN’T keep my ability a secret forever, so might as well reveal it now.
Yuno knew what the enemies wanted by revealing the fact that he could fix the zombies: to make the World Rankers of each country to snatch him away.
Those bastards used their brains this time.
Even if Ki Gayoon was the strongest Esper in the world, it would be impossible for one person to protect Yuno.
I’m not underestimating Gayoon Hyung— I’m just being realistic.
Plus, Yuno knew that Ki Gayoon would die first before the enemies could snatch him away.
And, if Gayoon Hyung dies, I’ll die with him.
"Anyway, I accept students," Yuno said casually as if he just didn’t drop a bomb on a live broadcast. "If any of you tries to kidnap me for my ability, I’ll kill myself before you get to me."
The moment he said his warning, he felt someone glaring a hole in his face.
Yeah, it was definitely Ki Gayoon glaring at Yuno.
Well, whatever.
I need to handle this situation.
"If you don’t want to get on my bad side, then you better approach me amicably," Yuno continued with his speech. "You can reach me through South Korea’s Esper Association and National Guide Bureau. If you want immediate action, then you can send your best Guides to me. I’ll teach them how to fix the infected individuals."
He was about to end his speech there, but he remembered something important.
"Ah. E-Class Guides are the most welcomed, by the way," Yuno added. "I’ll protect you."
"That’s enough, Yuyu," Moon Noa said, snapping his fingers. "We need to get out of here."
Lee Haerin and Yang Daksil’s unconscious bodies floated in the air, getting trapped inside the cube-shaped barrier that Moon Noa created.
Right.
We need to leave.
"Gayoon Hyung..."
Yuno wasn’t done calling his lover, but Ki Gayoon already appeared beside him.
How convenient.
"Yoonyoon, where’s Haru?"
"I don’t know. He said he has to check something," Ki Gayoon answered Moon Noa’s question, then he looked at Yuno. "You will be the death of me, Noh Yuno."
Pfft.
I should be the one saying that.
"Sorry, Hyung," Yuno said, gently patting Ki Gayoon’s cheek. "Let’s go home first before you scold me."

"DO YOU look young these days because of the Awakened People you consume?" 17 asked, obviously shocking Song Heejin. "Why are you surprised?"
"Well, I’m obviously using a body that doesn’t belong to me," Song Heejin said. "Doesn’t it make more sense if you think that I’m using a skill that allows my soul to possess another body? So, I don’t understand where you got that from, my child."
"You know that my intuition is the best among all Espers in the world, right? There’s a reason why I’m the #1 Esper in the world."
"Does your intuition say that consuming Awakened People makes me young?"
"Your original body is probably stored somewhere," 17 said, shrugging. "I bet your original body needs a lot of repair after Gayoon killed you."
"Dear, your brain sounds delicious."
"Did you watch a zombie film before going here?"
"You don’t need to be a smartass with me, 17," Song Heejin said, laughing. "Child, I know that you get bored easily. If I promise you a fun time, will you join my side?"
"I’m not easily entertained, Mama."
"I have no intention of joining hands with you in the first place. After all, playing with Yuno and Gayoon seems to be more fun than watching the world turn into a feeding ground for monsters," 17 said, smiling while snapping his fingers. "Plus, my beloved Guide hates you and your kind."
Hundreds of thunderbolts then descended upon Song Heejin.

"STOP," Haru said while tailing an individual wearing a cap and a hoodie that covered his face. But even without that disguise, he still recognized him. "Ryu Sungbin."
Yes, he was pretty sure he was following the traitor.
I’m not sure why I’m following this person, though.
Anyway, Ryun Sungbin only stopped walking when they reached an empty alleyway, and then he turned around to face Haru.
Ah, I’m right.
"You should have pretended not to notice me," Ryu Sungbin said in a low voice while removing his hoodie— showing his face. "Do you want to die, Haru?"
Oh?
Haru was surprised by Ryu Sungbin’s face.
The traitor’s left eye was glowing red, and half of his face was covered with veins.
And that appearance looked all too familiar to Haru.
Like an infected individual...
Haru furrowed his brows. "Did they also turn you into a zombie, Sungbin-san?"
