Smack!!

Another brutal slap cracked through the air.

This one was exponentially harder than the blow delivered to Susan. Lyla's head snapped violently to the side, and a blistering red handprint instantly materialized on her pale cheek.

Lyla clutched her face, her eyes wide with total, unadulterated disbelief.

"You hit me?! Sienna, you're out of your mind!"

"Yeah, I am." Sienna lowered her hand, her expression horrifyingly calm.

"After enduring your repulsive behavior for so many years, it would be a shame if I didn't finally snap."

She completely ignored Lyla's furiously flushing face and headed straight for the stairs.

Lyla stood paralyzed for a second. By the time her brain caught up, Sienna was already at the top of the landing, making a beeline for the master bedroom.

Lyla's heart plummeted. Ignoring the burning pain in her cheek, she gathered her silk robe and sprinted after her.

"What are you doing going into my room?!"

Sienna ignored her and shoved the half-open door wide.

The entire suite was drowning in aggressively cute pastels. The vanity was littered with absurdly expensive skincare bottles, a limited-edition designer handbag from Grant sat proudly on the nightstand, and a massive framed photo of the happy couple hung on the wall.

Sienna stood in the doorway for exactly two seconds, her gaze grazing over the couple's portrait.

Then, without a second thought, she walked over to the vanity and violently swept her arm across it, sending the entire collection of delicate glass bottles crashing to the floor.

Crash—

The explosive sound of shattering glass filled the room.

Lyla skidded to a halt in the doorway just in time to witness the carnage, freezing in sheer panic.

"Sienna! Stop!"

She tried to lunge forward to stop her, but Sienna just grabbed the insanely expensive handbag off the nightstand and hurled it directly at her head.

Terrified, Lyla shrieked and ducked backward. The heavy bag grazed her shoulder and slammed brutally against the doorframe.
