"Mr. Gauthier's father-in-law?"

"When did Mr. Gauthier get married?"

"Could it be Lyla's family? But she seems so classy. Why would her family be like this?"

Seeing that no one was rushing to cater to them, Fiona simply dropped to the polished marble floor, slapping her thighs as she began to wail at the top of her lungs.

"There's no justice! Our billionaire son-in-law is leaving us to die! He's just going to sit back and watch the debt collectors chop off my son's fingers!"

Simon stood by, shouting at the top of his lungs to back her up. "Give us the money! We aren't leaving until we get our money!"

A security guard jogged over, only to be shoved violently by Samuel.

"Don't you dare touch me! I'll put this all over the internet! I'll let the whole city see what kind of garbage the Gauthier Group really is!"

The lobby devolved into absolute chaos.

Employees crowded around the spectacle. Some pulled out their phones to record, while others simply stood by, whispering excitedly.

The security guard gripped his walkie-talkie, sweating profusely. Despite his efforts, he couldn't physically restrain the three shameless instigators.

...

Thirty-second floor, the CEO's office.

When the secretary pushed the door open, his face was pale.

"Mr. Gauthier, we have a situation in the lobby."

Grant was flipping through a contract, not bothering to look up. "What kind of situation?"

"Ms. Sawyer's... father and her family are making a massive scene downstairs."

The hand flipping the pages stopped.

The secretary pulled up the live security feed on an iPad and handed it over.

On the screen, Samuel was sitting on the marble floor, slapping the ground and screaming obscenities. Fiona was holding her phone up toward the crowd, weeping hysterically, while Simon lounged on a sofa, casually spitting sunflower seeds onto the floor.

Grant's mouth twitched in utter disgust.

This was Sienna's family.

He watched the despicable display on the screen, feeling nothing but profound repulsion.

He didn't think about how tragic it was for Sienna to be weighed down by such a horrific family. All he could think about was the humiliating reality that he was legally tied to these degenerates.

It was a complete disgrace.

"Mr. Gauthier, should I have security drag them out?" Lee asked cautiously.

His voice pitched up slightly at the end, laced with sadistic amusement.

The sunlight streaming through the floor-to-ceiling windows cut a sharp shadow across the shoulder of his suit, bathing him in a chilling, untouchable arrogance.

"Sienna, is this really your grand master plan?"

His words were soft, yet they carried the lethal sting of a poisoned blade, dripping with absolute judgment.

Sienna's voice finally came through the speaker. It was flat and hollow, like a pool of dead water reflecting absolutely nothing.

"What do you want?"

"Even a beggar on the street knows how to get on their knees. Is this your attitude?"

"Tell you what," he paused, letting the silence stretch. "Beg me."

Two simple words, yet they crashed through the air with the weight of an anvil.

Grant could perfectly imagine Sienna's fingers trembling as she tightened her grip on her phone.

The cruel smirk on his face widened slightly, brimming with predatory delight.

"The second you beg me, I'll give you your two hundred million."
