Chapter 37
Scar’s POV
Dear Diary,
So… what now. Do I say yes, or do I say no?

“Everyone, this is Natalie–my best friend from Montana. Nat, these are the people who basically adopted me and introduced me to an entirely different life.”
Natalie’s smile was immediate, warm. “I’m really happy to meet you. And thank
looking out for my girl.”
you for
Summer didn’t even try to be subtle. “It’s nice to meet you too. Scar has told us a lot, and I’m just going to say it–you’re insanely hot. Are you into women?”
Natalie’s cheeks went pink a Chapter Unlocked, Enjoy Reading!
“I’ve experimented,” she said, amused. “But I mostly prefer dick.”
Summer clicked her tongue. “Tragic.” Then she turned to Maisie. “I gave it my best.”
Maisie leaned in, eyes glittering. “Not your best. Don’t worry–we’ll fix that,” she said, giving Natalie a slow, filthy grin.
Natalie threw her head back and laughed.
Maisie pointed at me. “Okay, but spill, bitch. You dragged me out early on a Sunday.”
“Early?” I scoffed. “It’s eleven.”
“Girl, you stayed home yesterday. The rest of us met two guys and two girls and had an orgy for hours.” Maisie waved her hand like she was listing groceries. “Gavin mostly just fucked his new girl, but honestly? Watching was hot.”
I giggled. Gavin only nodded, pleased with himself.
“I think I’m done for,” he announced. “She’s unreal. That ass is lethal. She’s soft–like, I

could live with my face buried in her giant tits.”
I arched a brow. Gavin falling hard wasn’t exactly on my bingo card.

Summer nodded along. “She is amazing. I like her a lot. Scar, you’re going to love her when
you meet her. She starts out shy, but once she’s had a couple drinks–holy shit, she’s wild.” Summer smirked. “And she’s not his usual type. Curvier. Bigger. I was surprised when he brought her around.”
Gavin spread his hands. “The heart wants what it wants. You three are what the dick
wants… but this dick is currently unavailable. Except for Maren.”
We cracked up.
Summer’s expression shifted into business. “Alright, funny man aside–what’s happening? Your text sounded like you were about to spiral.”
“I wasn’t spiraling,” I said, though my chest felt tight. “I’m just… all over the place. Confused.
Excited. Nervous.”
Natalie tilted her head. “Okay, babe. About what?”
I took a breath. “Do you guys know what a throuple is?”
The table went quiet–quiet enough that I heard the clink of ice. When I looked up, they were all nodding like they already knew where I was headed.
Summer’s eyes sharpened. “Who?”
Natalie spoke at the exact same time. “Jace and Milo?”
Maisie had been mid–sip. She choked, coughing into her napkin.
“Shut the fuck up,” she wheezed. Then her voice shot up an octave. “Milo–the pool hottie? Oh my God. Tell me everything.”
Gavin winced and hooked a finger in his ear because Maisie was basically a siren.
I didn’t bother easing into it. “They were the masked guys sitting across from us at Club Drei. After they-” My cheeks heated, but I kept going. “After they ravished me, one of them said something that gave him away, and I knew it was Milo. Then the other pulled his mask

off, and from what you’d said, Maisie, I knew it was Jace.”
I swallowed.

“We talked. We fucked again. I got double penetrated–ass and pussy–for the first time,
and it was unfuckingbelievable. And I watched them together.” My voice went a little
hoarse. “It was so fucking sexy.”
Maisie, Summer, and Natalie all made noises of pure jealousy, fanning themselves
dramatically while I nodded like I was still feeling it.
Gavin laughed under his breath. “Damn, we really did ruin you.”
“Not ruin,” I said. “I’ve always wanted things like this. Brennan just wanted me to be… some
spotless wife he didn’t ‘dirty.“”
“Vanilla,” Natalie said immediately. “So, so vanilla.”
I nodded once. “Anyway. We were together for hours. Then Milo finally asked me
something.”
I met their eyes one by one. “He said he and Jace want a third. Like, actually in their
relationship. They’ve been together four years.”
Summer snapped her fingers. “Called it.”
“And they want me,” I said, my throat tightening again. “To be the missing piece. Exclusively. They don’t want to date or fuck anyone else besides each other and me–and
they want the same from me.”
Maisie blinked. “Okay… so where’s the issue?”
I stared down at my hands. “I just crawled out of a four–year relationship that wrecked me.”
Natalie leaned forward, voice firm in that way that always made me feel both loved and exposed. “First of all–you weren’t destroyed. You were hurt. You were devastated then. But you weren’t destroyed, or you’d still be curled up in bed mourning him.”
She didn’t let me interrupt.
“Second, Scar. You complained constantly that you loved Brennan but you were dying of

boredom in bed. He wouldn’t even let you touch yourself in front of him.”
Maisie and Summer both gasped. Gavin just stared at me. “What the fuck.”
I gave them a small, sad smile and nodded.
Gavin’s voice softened. “Baby girl… what did he even do with you?”
I answered, because it was the truth. “Missionary. Or against the shower wall. Sometimes
he’d let me ride him.” I let out a bitter little laugh. “We did doggy once, and he told me he
didn’t like it because he couldn’t see my face. I thought it was sweet back then. But
time I asked for anything different, he’d say some variation of, ‘A man doesn’t do that to his
wife.“”
Summer’s mouth twisted. “What an idiot.”
Everyone nodded. Me too.
Natalie held my gaze. “Okay. Let’s be real. Do you like them?”
every
“Yeah,” I admitted. “A lot. They’re funny. They’re solid with each other, and that makes me
think they’d be solid with me. They’re smart, they’re hot as fuck, and-” I didn’t bother being
delicate. “They have huge cocks. Milo is long and thick, but Jace… Jesus. He’s massive.
And he felt so good inside me.”
My body reacted before my brain could stop it. I shifted in my chair, that lingering ache
turning into a sweet pulse. I sighed.
“They’re firefighters too,” I added, trying to sound practical. “Busy schedules, so it’s not like we’ll be glued together nonstop. And they were attentive. Like… genuinely good guys.”
Gavin tipped his chin. “So what are the downsides?”
“I’m fresh out of a relationship,” I said. “And I still want to do the club thing, explore. They said they’d want to do that with me, but still.” My voice dipped. “And what if I’m not
enough?”
Natalie didn’t hesitate. “There it is. Brennan’s damage.”
She reached across the table as if she could physically pull that fear out of me.

“Scar, any man–any men, in this case–would be lucky to have you. You are enough,” she said, counting me out like facts. “You’re sexy. You’re smart. You’re fun. You cook like a damn goddess. And you’re open to things most people are terrified of.”
She kept going, relentless and loving. “You won’t be boring. And you won’t let yourself rot in boredom either. You deserve to be loved, and you’re the kind of person who thrives in a
relationship.”
Natalie’s eyes narrowed. “You spoiled Brennan because that’s how you love–acts of service. Cooking. Little thoughtful things. Submitting. And he took it.”
Then she asked the question that made my stomach sink.
“What did he ever do for you?”
My mind answered before I wanted it to.
I had done everything to prove love: meals, cleaning, laundry. I had kept myself available
whenever he wanted sex. I had put his work first, handed him clients even when they
specifically requested me. I had let him steer every plan–every weekend, every decision—
because arguing made me feel like I was failing.
A doormat. That was the word.
Even with Sloane, I had been fine at first. I had swallowed his excuses, nodded along when
he was always over there “helping.” It didn’t start eating at me until two weeks after Sloane
and Ever moved into their house, when his weekly dinners there became four nights.
Sometimes five.
I looked up slowly. “You’re right. He never did anything just for me.”
My voice steadied as the list stacked up. “After work, I’d still cook, and then I’d clean. We
went out sometimes, but usually we didn’t. For my birthday, anniversaries, Christmas–gift
cards.”
I let out a breath that felt like admitting guilt. “At first I was fine with it, because the cards were for restaurants he liked or the nail place. But it was always the same. Every year. No thought. Just routine.”
I shrugged, the sadness sharp now instead of soft. “He never bought me flowers. And I’m

not huge on jewelry, but the only jewelry I ever got from him was my engagement ring and wedding ring.”
Gavin’s eyebrows climbed. “Jesus. Did he have a romantic bone in his body?”
I almost laughed. “His version of romance was us working out together and then fucking in the shower after.”
Maisie grinned. “Congrats. You just escaped twenty years of boredom.”
I smiled back, because she wasn’t wrong.
Natalie lifted her hand like she was calling for a vote. “Alright. All in favor of Scar giving Jace and Milo a real chance?”
Gavin’s hand shot up. So did Maisie’s. Summer’s too, all three of them nodding like it was
the easiest decision on earth.
A beat later, I raised my hand as well.
The girls squealed. Gavin leaned over and pressed a quick kiss to my cheek.
It was going to change everything. And this time, I was going to lean into it.
