I slammed in a few more times and came with a roar, the release so heavy it felt like it emptied my
whole body. I let her legs fall and collapsed over her.
Her arms came around me, palms stroking my back until my breathing calmed.
I turned my head toward Milo. He was wiping himself off where he’d spilled on his stomach.
I hadn’t even heard him finish again.
“That was one of the hottest fucks I’ve ever watched,” Milo said, voice rough. “You were gone in it.”
“It felt too good,” I mumbled. “I didn’t want to stop.”
Scar exhaled a satisfied little laugh. “Best wake–up ever.”
I pushed up enough to look at her. “You’re not pissed I… took advantage while you were asleep? You
were the one moaning me awake.”
She shook her head. “No. I didn’t mind. I was having a sex dream–I was touching myself while
watching two men making love

Milo narrowed his eyes playfully. “Those two better have been us.”
She giggled. “Honestly, I couldn’t tell. They were too far away. It was mostly the way they were kissing
and holding each other. I didn’t see who they were.”
“They better have been,” I muttered, finally pulling out of her. She gave a soft moan at the loss.
We showered, then made pancakes and bacon. After breakfast we headed to the local clinic and got
all our tests done.
On the walk back, we passed a boutique. Scar stopped short, turned, and went right in.
“Maisie!” she called.
Maisie emerged from the back. The second she saw Scar, her face lit up and she squealed, rushing
forward to wrap her in a hug.
“Girl, I’m so happy for you,” she said, eyes flicking to Milo and me.
“Thank you,” Scar said, still smiling. “Me too. I have a favor–can we take the boxes you break down in
the back? We’re moving Jace to Milo’s place tomorrow.”
“Yeah, of course,” Maisie said without hesitation. “I’ll stack them up. Come by in the morning before

you head to Jace’s and grab them.”
“Thanks, love.”
We left and went back to Milo’s condo.

Scar glanced between us, worry peeking through her excitement. “So… I’m meeting your mom
tomorrow?”
“Yeah,” I told her. “And Joe and Junia.”
Milo picked up the thread. “After you got pulled away by the girls and Dylan, they heard Natalie going off on me about you thinking we’d replaced you with them. They were horrified. They didn’t want to make anything worse, so they left. Otherwise, you would’ve met them yesterday at the beach.”
Scar’s face fell. “Oh God. They probably think I’m a complete bitch. I’ve already screwed things up with your family.”
I laughed and pulled her into a hug. “No, princess. They felt awful. They both know Milo and I have
wanted a third for a while.”
Milo nodded. “They even set us up on blind dates.”
“That went nowhere,” I added. “But trust me–they’re happy for us.”
Scar looked up. “And your mom?”
“Mama loves love,” I said. “She was ecstatic when Milo and I started dating. When we made it official,
she cooked this whole special dinner like it was a holiday.”
Scar’s eyes darted away like she was already planning. “Maybe I should cook and bring something.
Make lunch for everyone. What do you think?”
“That’s not necessary, baby,” I said. “We can just order pizza.”
She stared at me like I’d committed a crime.
I cleared my throat. “Or–okay–yeah. Lunch sounds great. What were you thinking?”
“How about steak sandwiches,” she said quickly, “with a garlic–herb–cheese spread, tomato, and garlic bread?”
Milo made a sound of pure appreciation. “Jesus. That sounds incredible.”
“Perfect,” Scar said, suddenly all energy aain. “I’ll run out and grab what I need. I’ll see you two soon.”
She bounced up to Milo first, kissed him, then crossed to me and kissed me too–quick but full of

promise–before she hurried out the door.
Milo blinked after her. “What just happened?”
“She’s nervous,” I said. “Wants them to like her.”
“They’re going to love her,” Milo said. “Joe and Junia too.”
Olgets
“We know that,” I said, watching the door like I could still see her through it. “She doesn’t.”
Milo’s voice dropped. “Jared–since she’s not here. How are you really feeling about all of this?”
My stomach tightened.
Why now? Was he backing out? Was he second–guessing? It felt late for that.
“Milo,” I said carefully, “I’m falling for her.”
He held still, listening.
“I was inside her this morning, and the thought that hit me was… I was going to marry her.”
His eyes widened, then his mouth broke into a grin.
“Thank fuck,” he breathed. “Because I think I’m in love with her too. She’s… special. I know it’s fast, but
she’s everything to me.”
“Do you want to marry her?” I asked, the question surprising even me. If he did, I’d step back. He’d met
her first.
Milo didn’t hesitate. “I do, Jace. I want to marry her too.”
I nodded, pulse loud in my ears. “Okay. When it’s right, we ask her to marry us–both of us. We’ll have our own ceremony, and we’ll marry each other. Then you and her can do the legal part.”
Milo’s smile turned soft. “That’s a perfect plan.”
“I love you,” I told him. “You two are the best thing that’s ever happened to me.”
“I love you too,” he said. “You’re both my everything. And now we make damn sure she knows how wanted she is. When we’re both certain we’re in love, we ask.”
“Alright,” I said. “I’ll ask my mom for my grandmother’s wedding ring.”
Milo’s eyes lit. “Yes. Perfect.”
I pushed off the couch and kissed him.
