Scar’s POV

Dear Diary

Moving day, and the stuff we say when everything’s changing.

I came awake before Milo and Jace, pinned in the middle like I belonged there.

Milo’s warmth pressed to my back, his arm wrapped around my waist. In front, Jace held both of us like a shield, my brow tucked to his chest beneath his jaw. My hand stayed splayed over him, keeping

him close as if he might vanish.

We were all limbs and heat and slow breathing. Too comfortable. Too right.

For a couple minutes I just lay there, letting my brain sift through the last two months. It’s been a head- on collision with realityBrennan’s betrayal still sitting like a bruise my sex life turning out to beexpansive, meeting people I never expected, and then finding not one, but two men who have been

I brushed my lips to Jace’s bare chest.

God, I was starting to really care.

And that was the problem.

This can’t be forever, can it? Maybe I should sleep at my place tonight. Give them room to enjoy

moving in together without me as the extra thing to manage.

With that decision forming, I eased myself out of the tangle, inch by inch, until their arms stopped catching me. I crawled down the huge mattress and stood./

In the seconds it took to turn around, Milo had already drifted into Jace like a magnet, the two of them

holding each other in their sleep.

I smiled because they were ridiculous.

And because they were unbelievably hot.

A fast shower. Then I tugged on blue cutoff shorts and a white halter, trying not to think about how

domestic that felt.

In the kitchen, I went straight into motion.

Muffins firstblueberry, and cinnamon swirl studded with apple chunks. While they baked, I pulled the marinated steak from the fridge. Skillet heating, butter melting, meat sizzling.

The timer chimed right as I finished the last steak. I let the slices rest before cutting them, slid garlic bread into the oven, and started assembling like I was feeding an army.

Garlicherbcheese spread. Steak. Tomato, salt and pepper. Provolone to finish.

Ten sandwiches. Enough for seconds if someone got bold, because I didn’t actually know how many people we were dealing with.

I added loaded potato salad and a tray of mini chocolate éclairs, because apparently I have no chill.

Somewhere along the way, three hours disappeared.

When I finally looked at the clock, it was eleven.

They still weren’t up.

I headed down the hall to wake themthen froze in the doorway.

Jace was driving into Milo from behind, hard and steady. Milo had his palms on the wall, eyes shut,

mouth parted, his expression torn between bliss and the kind of ache he wanted more of. Jace looked

wrecked in the best way, watching himself fill Milo like he couldn’t get enough.

A low hum slipped out of me before I could stop it.

Heat pooled fast in my panties. Great. I was going to need to change.

Both of them snapped their heads toward me, catching me leaning on the jamb, staring like I’d forgotten how to blink.

Enjoying the view, baby?Jace rasped.

Oh, yeah,I breathed. Don’t you dare slow down. Harder, Jace.”

Their groans hit the room at the same time.

Jace took my order like a challenge, snapping his hips with more force. Milo’s cock was dripping, and my body moved before my brain could talk me out of it.

I dropped to my knees, squeezed myself into the narrow space between Milo and the wall, and ran my tongue over the tip.

Milo sucked in a sharp breath, then broke into a moan.

I opened wider, guiding him in. With every one of Jace’s thrusts, Milo slid deeper, my throat taking him

a little more at a time.

Fuckoh fuck,Milo gasped, his breathing going ragged.

I worked him with my mouth, rocking my head, bracing my hands against his thick thighs.

My throat clenched around him.

Fuck-Milo’s voice jumped up as he came, spilling down my throat.

A heartbeat later, Jace roared, burying himself to the hilt and locking there, groin pressed tight to

Milo’s ass.

When Milo softened, I eased him free and cleaned him with slow, deliberate licks, not wasting a single

drop.

Damn,Milo said, dazed. Didn’t see that coming. Thank you.

I laughed under my breath. You’re welcome. That wasa really nice thing to walk in on.

Jace’s gaze stayed sharp. You’re not pissed we started without you?

Was that what they were worried about?

No,I said, steady. Not even a little. I don’t expect everything to be all of us, all the time. You two are

partners. I’m not here to wedge myself between that.

Milo caught my hand and helped me stand. You’re our partner too, Scar. Not a guest star we borrow

for a weekend.

I didn’t know if I believed it.

In my head, I was still temporary. Fun. Convenient.

Milo tipped his chin at me like he could see the doubt. Scardo you get that I want you as much as Jace does? Just like we want each other. This isn’t a fling.

Mmhmm,I lied, because it was easier than letting them see how scared I was.

Don’t get attached. Don’t explode with jealousy. Just be here.

I stepped backward toward the hall. I made muffins. You two need to hurry. It’s already eleven, the

steak sandwiches are done, and we still have to swing by Maisie’s for those boxes.

I left their room to a sudden quiet.

In the kitchen, I packed everything into one of my picnic baskets, working off the nervous energy. By

the time they finally emerged, I had my white sandals on and impatience biting at my heels.

I shoved two muffins at each of them and handed over bottles of water.

Somebody’s ready to run the show,Jace said, kissing my forehead.

I don’t want your mom and sisters waiting,I told him. That’s rude.

Milo and Jace both chuckled like I was adorable.

We piled into Milo’s truck, hit Maisie’s store in minutes, and grabbed the boxes she’d saved for us. I

thanked her, and then we were back on the road.

About twenty minutes later, we turned into a neighborhood that made my eyebrows climb.

The place was a polished, singlefamily house with a wide, green yard, five palm trees, and bushes trimmed like someone actually cared. The driveway stretched long enough to line up four or five cars

without effort.

The exterior was a soft, light blue.

I was still absorbing that when the front door burst open and two brunette women came flying out.

They stopped right in front of me, vibrating with excitement.

Hi!they said in perfect unison.

Identical faces. Identical outfits.

Oh no.
