He Finally Noticed Me Right When I Was Leaving novel Chapter 164

After cleaning up, Felicity looked up and noticed Franklin still frowning, his expression grim and heavy with thought. Curious, she leaned over.

"What's wrong?" she asked. "You've been frowning this whole time. Is something bothering you?"

Without looking at her, he leaned back against the sofa and said in a low voice, "No."

Her eyes lit up as she leaned in closer, a gossipy grin spreading across her face. "Don't tell me you finally have a girl you like!"

He slowly turned his head, gave her a side-eye, and replied calmly, "I do..."

"Really?!" she squealed, instantly energized. Grabbing his arm and shaking it, she pressed, "That's so unfair! You have a crush and didn't even tell me? Who is it? Do I know her? Which family is she from?"

Gently prying her hands off, he shook his head with a serious expression. "It's not the right time yet. When the moment is right, I'll bring her home to meet you. Don't be so impatient."

"What do you mean by the right time? What does timing have to do with anything?"

"Why is a kid like you asking so many questions?" he replied coldly. "Focus on your studies and stay away from boys, you hear me?"

"Come on, I'm already in college!" she protested.
