He Finally Noticed Me Right When I Was Leaving novel Chapter 177

"I'm going to check on Sienna. Is that against the rules too?"

Pierce hung up his phone. "Fine, I'll go with you."

"Stop right there!" Seraphina halted, turning to glare at him with absolute frost. "Sienna is changing in there. You can't go in."

He fell silent for a moment before saying in a low voice, "Go ahead. If she needs anything, call me immediately."

Watching his concerned facade, a faint, mocking smile tugged at her lips. "I seem to recall you saying you had completely forgotten who Sienna was. What's this? Did your memory suddenly come back? Do you suffer from intermittent amnesia, Mr. Prescott? Do you need me to refer you to a neurologist?"

Pierce clenched his jaw, thoroughly irritated by her bite. "Let's just say we formally met today. Is that a problem?"

Seraphina didn't bother responding. Without another word, she pushed open the bedroom door, stepped inside, and shut it firmly behind her.

She completely locked him out.

Inside the room, Elara had already helped Sienna change into fresh clothes.

Sienna's legs were bright red from the scald, and Elara was gently applying cold compresses, her face full of heartache.

Sienna pouted, complaining pitifully, "At least it's just red. If it had hit you, it would've been so much worse, especially with your injuries. Dad is so clumsy."

Elara sighed, gently stroking Sienna's hair. "Does it still hurt?"

Seeing Seraphina walk in, Sienna's face lit up. "Hey, what are you doing in here? Did that guy outside make you mad again?"

Seraphina quickly crouched down beside her, gently touching the area near her leg. "Is it still hurting?"
