Elara looked at Seraphina, a glimmer of hope shining in her eyes, mingled with worry. "Do you have a plan? Or... should we ask Pierce for help?"
"Aunt Elara, I want a divorce too. I don't want him involved in this."
"Then who else can we turn to? I've been a housewife for years, I don't have those kinds of connections, and Sienna just started working."
Seraphina thought for a moment before saying, "I have a... a friend. He mentioned knowing a very powerful divorce lawyer with a massive success rate. I can reach out to him and see what we can do."
Elara blinked in surprise and nodded. "Is this friend reliable?"
"I can't say for sure, but it's worth a shot. If it doesn't pan out, we'll figure something else out." Seraphina glanced toward the bedroom door, lowering her voice. "Aunt Elara, can I borrow your phone for a second?"
Elara was a bit surprised she wasn't using her own, but knowing Seraphina was always careful and level-headed, she handed it over without question.
Seraphina took the phone, quickly downloaded a streaming app, and logged into her 'Serene Sanctuary' account.
She opened her messages with F-Seraph and quickly typed: [Hi F-Seraph. You mentioned knowing a divorce lawyer before. Could you connect me? I can't meet in person, phone calls only. I'd really appreciate it.]
Not long after the message sent, F-Seraph replied, almost as if he had been waiting.
[No problem. I'll give you his number right now. His name is Mr. Zimmerman, a highly renowned divorce lawyer with a ton of experience. Give him a call directly, explain the situation, and he'll handle it. His number is: 138XXXX5874.]
Seraphina quickly memorized the number, replied with a quick "Thank you," logged out, and handed the phone back.
