He Finally Noticed Me Right When I Was Leaving novel Chapter 186

Pierce took a deep breath, forcing himself to stay calm, and slowly opened the door.

The moment it swung open, the two officers stepped inside. With stern expressions, one of them said, "Hello, we are officers from the local precinct. We received a report that a woman named Seraphina Somerset has gone missing. We tracked the security footage to this location. Is she here?"

Before Pierce could even answer, a familiar figure rushed in from behind the officers.

It was Silas Sterling!

He yelled frantically, "Seraphina! Seraphina, are you here?"

Seraphina had just stepped out of the bedroom when Silas spotted her.

His face instantly flooded with a mix of relief and deep concern.

He rushed to her side, grabbing her hand and pulling her securely behind him. Shielding her with his body, he turned to the officers and declared, "Officers, Seraphina is right here."

Seraphina looked up, a flicker of surprise in her eyes when she saw it was Silas.

Pierce never took his eyes off her.

She remained completely silent and made no effort to pull her hand from Silas's grip.

Pierce's gaze finally shifted to Silas, his expression darkening instantly. A storm of rage and raw hostility brewed in his eyes.

He stepped forward aggressively, trying to pull Seraphina back. His voice was freezing. "Dr. Sterling, this is between me and my wife. It has nothing to do with you."
