He Finally Noticed Me Right When I Was Leaving novel Chapter 58

Seraphina stared back for a moment before suddenly slamming her elbow violently against the car window, producing a deafening thud.

Gritting her teeth, she looked completely unhinged, seemingly oblivious to the pain as she smashed her elbow against the glass again and again.

"What are you doing?! Are you out of your mind?!"

Pierce lunged to grab her, but because his seatbelt was still locked, he missed.

He scrambled frantically to unbuckle himself, the heavy, violent thuds of her elbow against the reinforced glass ringing in his ears.

By the time he looked up, faint streaks of blood had already smeared across the window.

Pierce completely lost it. He grabbed Seraphina around the waist, dragging her fiercely into his arms.

But Seraphina was faster. She swung the same bloodied elbow backward, striking him perfectly in the center of his chest.

She had put every ounce of her strength into the blow, and Pierce immediately gasped in pain.

Seeing her lunge for the window again, he ignored the ache in his ribs. He threw one arm tightly around her shoulders to yank her back while raising his other arm just in time to block her second elbow strike.

Seraphina twisted wildly in his grip and forcefully jerked her knee upward, slamming directly into his jaw.

His head cracked hard against the roof of the car, sending a dizzying wave of disorientation through his skull.

Seizing the opening, Seraphina hit the unlock button, wrenched herself out of his grip, and kicked the door open.

By the time Pierce regained his bearings, half her body was already out of the car.

Fortunately, he had a long reach. He lunged and seized her wrist in a vice grip.

Seraphina snapped her head back and sank her teeth viciously into his hand. Blood instantly welled up around his knuckles.

When she lifted her face, her eyes were freezing cold. The blood staining her lips and teeth made her look fierce, wild, and completely unyielding.
