On the other end of the line.
Scarlett felt a massive wave of relief upon finally getting through to Talia. But the next second, hearing Talia's terrified plea for help as if she'd seen a ghost, Scarlett's voice shot up an octave in panic.
"What's wrong?! Where are you?! Are you in danger again?!"
Talia took a deep breath, trying to keep her voice from shaking, though her eyes were locked onto the "Greek god" standing in the room. She didn't dare look away.
"N-No danger..."
Talia swallowed hard, lowering her voice to a whisper. "It's just... Chatwin... he's acting like a total creep!"
Scarlett paused, the tight knot of anxiety instantly unraveling.
"Pfft... cough, cough!"
"How is he being a creep? What did he do to you?"
"He's terrifying!"
Talia muttered through gritted teeth, though out of the corner of her eye, she noticed Chatwin giving her a half-smile before turning and walking into the bathroom.
Soon, the sound of splashing water echoed from the bathroom. But the main issue was—Chatwin hadn't closed the door!
From where Talia was standing, she had a clear view through the glass of his tall, blurry silhouette amidst the steam.
Was... was she allowed to watch this?
Her brain flooded with blood again, refusing to function properly.
"How is he terrifying? Where are you two?"
"Where is he? Put him on the phone! Did he bully you? How did he bully you?"
Hearing Talia's trembling voice, Scarlett assumed the worst and was frantically worried.
Talia was dumbstruck, staring unblinkingly at the scene unfolding in the bathroom. The sheer embarrassment made her want to look away, but her eyes simply refused to obey.
"N-No... nothing."
Talia swallowed heavily.
