Chapter 37 The Right People Stay
Adriel glanced at Wynette and said, “Everything else looks fine.”
Hearing that, Wynette finally let out a breath.
He went on, “When are you planning to open?”
Wynette quickly realized he was talking about her game studio.
She smiled and said, “It’s okay. No rush.”
“Alright,” Adriel said. “The whole building is already fully finished. Just tell me what equipment you need. I’ll have Blaze handle it. When the time comes, you can move in with your team right away.”
Wynette blinked in surprise. “That fast?”
She didn’t expect him to move this quickly.
Adriel chuckled. “Strike while the iron’s hot. Whatever you need, just tell Blaze. He’ll take care of it right
away.
“I’m guessing your split from the Shepherds is almost done too. It’s always better to have a backup plan. The prepared ones are the ones who win.”
Blaze was Adriel’s chief assistant.
People said he and Adriel were college classmates. They even studied abroad together. After graduation, Blaze joined Adriel at Gallagher Group.
When Adriel took over the company, Blaze stayed by his side and handled almost everything.
He was the person
Adriel trusted the most.
At Gallagher Group, besides Adriel, Blaze Holden was the only one who could make decisions on his behalf.
And he had never let Adriel down.
Wynette felt like asking someone like Blaze to handle studio errands was a bit of a waste.
She was about to say she could manage it herself and didn’t want to trouble him, but before she could speak, Adriel had already sent her Blaze’s contact.
“Not just the studio,” Adriel said, reading her thoughts. “If I’m busy and can’t reply, you can go to Blaze. He’ll “help you too.”
Long before Wynette decided to restart her studio, Adriel already asked Blaze to find a professional manager who could step in and run things.
That way, if Wynette wanted to return to Jewell Group, it would be much easier for her.
Adriel had made it clear.

Anything she wanted to do, he would support her.

Wynette almost refused out of habit. But then she remembered what Adriel had said before.
Use the resources you have.
Since she was already tied to him, it made sense to lean on that support.
If he was willing to help, why should she hold back?
After thinking it through, Wynette added Blaze’s contact right in front of him.
She smiled and said, “Then I won’t hold back.”
Adriel nodded.
Good.
He had seen the hesitation in her eyes. For a moment, he thought she would refuse again.
Luckily, she didn’t disappoint him.
The two of them exchanged a smile.
“Hi!” A cheerful voice suddenly came from the doorway.
Wynette turned toward the sound. A young woman stood there with her hands behind her back, tilting her head as she peeked in.
She looked cute and playful.
“Joanne,” Wynette called.
Joanne was dressed in black slacks and a white shirt, her hair neatly tied up. Her baby–faced features were full of energy.
With a big grin, she rushed over and threw herself into Wynette’s arms.
“Wynette, babe, hug me! I need to recharge. Your little baby is exhausted.”

Wyn
saw her posts about constant travel and didn’t want to bother her too much.
But Adriel had called Joanne over anyway.
This was the time Wynette needed a friend the most.
She hadn’t expected Adriel to notice that and actually do something about it.
Adriel caught her gaze and said calmly, “I’m going to make a call. Joanne, stay with her.”
He made an excuse and stepped out, leaving the two of them alone.
Once he left, Wynette snap out of her thoughts.
Joanne stood up and looked Wynette over from head to toe. She chided, “That idiot. He knew you’re allergic to grapes and still made you drink wine. Thank God you’re okay. If something had happened, I swear I’d go after Noah myself.”
She tapped Wynette lightly on the head, both angry and worried. “And you–you can be in love, fine. But not at the cost of your health. He tells you to drink, and you just do it? What am I supposed to say to you?”
After making sure Wynette was really okay, Joanne’s eyes turned red. Her voice shook. “If my brother hadn’t told me, were you going to keep this from me? Why are you such a fool? What’s so great about Noah? He’s just a cheating jerk. You need to wake up. Wynette, you really scared me this time.” There was still fear in Joanne’s voice.
When Adriel called and told her Wynette had passed out from an allergic reaction and was rushed to the hospital, Joanne had just walked out of the airport. She almost dropped her phone on the spot.
She rushed back to the firm, quickly handled what she could, and then came straight to the hospital.
Once she made sure Wynette was safe, she finally relax.

Chapter 37 The Right People Stay
Wynette felt a wave of guilt. She hated that she had made Joanne worry so much.
Her voice was hoarse as she said, “I’m fine. I just… wanted to see that game through to the end. But now, it doesn’t matter anymore.”
That only made Joanne even angrier.
