He Never Loved Me Until the Day I Finally Left Him novel Chapter 630

"I'm going with you," Sebastian stated without missing a beat.

Before Helena could decline, his calm voice cut through. "In your current state, I wouldn't trust you behind the wheel. And second, you're not going to get a ride out here."

Helena froze, cornered.

She had absolutely no way to argue with him.

It was true—getting a ride out here was impossible.

Even a private car service wouldn't be able to get past the estate's security gates.

Walking to the main entrance would mean trekking at least five miles down a winding mountain road.

It would take way too long.

So Helena swallowed her pride. "Thank you, Mr. Hayes."

Sebastian gave a curt nod and quickly ushered her into his car.

They sped off in the direction of the Riverton police station.

On the way, Helena tried calling Julian.

Naturally, Sebastian noticed.

This time, Helena beat him to the punch. "Skye is family. Julian is her cousin, so he has a right to know. Besides, he's here in Riverton, isn't he?"

Her sharp logic left Sebastian without a retort.

His expression darkened, but he ultimately stayed quiet.

Ignoring the man beside her, Helena looked down and quickly dialed Julian's number again.

However, the call went straight to voicemail.

Her frown deepened.

She quickly sent him a message on WhatsApp.

Helena: [Skye is in Riverton. I'm on my way to the police station now.]

She didn't add any unnecessary details.

She looked down at the screen. It was Claire calling.

She subtly pulled her hand free from Sebastian's grip.

Sebastian didn't comment on it.

He simply tightened his grip on the steering wheel, his gaze fixed calmly on the road ahead.

Helena answered the call. "Claire, Skye is in Riverton. The police station just called me..."

She spoke quickly, wasting no time.

Hearing this, Claire let out a heavy sigh. "That little rascal actually ran off to Riverton? I thought she was just joking. But then I noticed she was gone, and so were all her IDs. I'm definitely holding the airline accountable—how on earth did they let a child that young fly all the way there?"

Helena rushed to soothe her. "Claire, please don't worry. I'm here in Riverton, and I'm heading over to pick her up right now."

"Alright. I'm going to have a serious talk with her when she gets back," Claire said, shaking her head. "Also, when I first realized she was missing, I called Julian immediately. He rushed back to Coralia and should be on a flight right now. I left him a message. Let him know too; otherwise, knowing his temper, he's going to hit the roof."

"Okay, I'll text him," Helena agreed.

So Julian had found out and rushed back to Coralia, which was why he couldn't be reached?
