He Never Loved Me Until the Day I Finally Left Him novel Chapter 632

Inside the precinct, Helena immediately spotted Skye.

The little girl was munching on a bag of potato chips, giggling endlessly at a cartoon playing on a screen in front of her.

She didn't look the least bit like a lost, terrified child.

Clearly, she had been thoroughly spoiled by the officers.

Seeing this utterly relaxed scene, Helena let out an exasperated laugh.

"Skye Campbell!" Helena called out her full name sharply.

Hearing her name, Skye immediately stuck out her tongue, then sheepishly trudged over to Helena.

An officer quickly followed her over.

He gave Helena a brief rundown of how they had found the child.

"This little girl flew here all the way from Coralia on her own. When she was boarding, she apparently just pointed to some man in front of her and claimed he was her guardian, and the staff let her right on. After she landed in Riverton, she wandered around for a bit, got lost, and ended up calling the police herself. You were the first contact in her phone, so we gave you a ring."

Even the officer couldn't believe how absurd the whole situation was.

Helena was mortified. "I am so sorry. I apologize..."

Skye grabbed Helena's hand. "Lena, don't be mad! I just didn't know which way to go. But look, I knew to find a nice police officer!"

Helena shot her a withering glare.

Skye instantly zipped her lips.

When Sebastian walked in, he was greeted by this exact scene.

As he looked between Skye and Helena, it struck him just how much the two resembled each other.

Was that why Helena was so close to the child? Because they looked alike?

For some inexplicable reason, Sebastian's mind drifted to the daughter he had lost.

The daughter the original Helena had taken to the grave with her.

Back then, Helena had also wanted to name their baby 'Hope'.
