He Never Loved Me Until the Day I Finally Left Him novel Chapter 673

Helena didn't answer any of Sebastian's questions and simply hung up.

Julian walked into the room, and she forced herself to remain calm.

"Who was that?" Julian asked casually.

"The production team. They're worried about a mess on Monday," Helena replied quickly.

"Was Charlotte Morgan looking for you?" he asked, his tone offhand.

"Yeah," Helena agreed, playing along.

Julian had already closed the distance between them. In truth, Helena was still a bundle of nerves.

But under the circumstances, she kept quiet, maintaining her placid facade.

Julian, however, just looked at her quietly, his thoughts unreadable.

It wasn't until he broke the silence that the tension shifted. "Charlotte Morgan used to be an actress. She even won Best Actress once, didn't she?"

"Yes. Why bring that up all of a sudden?" Helena was genuinely surprised.

"Lena, it's obvious. If Janetta weren't in the picture, Charlotte could easily make a comeback, couldn't she?" Julian said slowly.

Helena paused, immediately catching his drift.

He was implying she didn't need to keep tangling with Janetta.

This could be resolved quickly and ruthlessly.

Charlotte's reappearance would be the ultimate slap in the face, considering Janetta was deeply implicated in the scandal that ruined Charlotte's career years ago.

"With the Campbell family's backing, combined with Janetta's current situation, she wouldn't stand a chance," Julian stated calmly.

"But that wouldn't be me doing it," Helena finally spoke up, raising her head.

Hope's life, her own life, and Wynn's life.

Helena couldn't just let it go.

If she didn't destroy her enemies with her own hands, she would never find peace.

She was the one trapped in the past, no one else.

Because of this, her quiet words carried an unyielding stubbornness.

She gave Julian absolutely no room to continue the conversation.

"Besides, even if Charlotte made a comeback, she isn't right for this role," Helena added.

Julian wasn't oblivious to Helena's mindset, so he simply nodded.

"Alright. Get some rest," Julian said, dropping the subject.
