He kept getting the strange illusion that they were mother and son.
It was an absurd thought, yet it felt incredibly real.
He kept his mouth shut, suppressing the feeling the entire day.
While inside the park, he and Helena didn't talk much.
Most of their conversations revolved around the two kids.
Throughout the day, she took plenty of photos of Hope and Kyle.
During a quiet moment, she sent the solo shots of Hope to Julian.
But Julian never replied.
Staring at their WhatsApp chat, she let out a silent sigh.
She obviously knew he was furious.
After thinking it over, she typed out a formal message.
Helena: [Hope and I are returning to Coralia tomorrow. Depending on how she's feeling tonight, I'll likely book an afternoon flight and arrive by evening.]
She assumed he would just ignore her again.
But after her phone sat silently for a long time, a flight confirmation popped up.
Tomorrow at 3 PM, flying from Riverton to Coralia, landing at 5 PM.
Clearly, he had seen her message.
She screenshotted the notification and was about to send it to him.
But his message came through with the itinerary details attached.
Julian: [I'll pick you up at the airport at five.]
Seeing his text made her let out a breath of relief.
Without hesitating, she quickly fired back a reply.
Helena: [Okay.]
Julian didn't say anything else.
Out of the corner of her eye, she saw Sebastian walking over with the kids.
She smoothly tucked her phone away.
He cast a fleeting glance at her but didn't ask any questions.
