He Never Loved Me Until the Day I Finally Left Him novel Chapter 774

Helena lowered her eyes, turning unnaturally quiet.

Even her gaze grew hollow.

She remained completely oblivious until Sebastian stopped right in front of her.

"Go wash your hands for dinner," he said smoothly.

Helena jerked her head up, instinctively springing to her feet to dodge him as she made a beeline for the sink.

As she was washing her hands, Sebastian effortlessly moved in behind her.

His arms casually slipped around her waist.

Under the running water, it suddenly became two pairs of hands washing together.

Helena frowned.

She was completely trapped.

Instantly, she froze, refusing to make another move.

Sebastian didn't seem to mind. While washing his own hands, he took the liberty of washing hers as well.

"All done. Let's eat," he murmured softly.

Whether it was intentional or not, it didn't matter.

His lips practically brushed against her ear.

It felt like a deliberate, seductive provocation.

The hot breath fanning over her skin made Helena instinctively shrink away.

Sebastian let out a low chuckle, mercifully stopping his teasing.

And yet, he still didn't release his hold on her.

Suspended in the suffocating tension, and hyper-aware of Skye's presence nearby, Helena was powerless to fight back.

Finally, whether out of sheer desperation or reckless abandon, she made a move.

Helena abruptly spun around, coming face-to-face with him.

Sebastian raised an eyebrow, his expression perfectly composed.

"What is it?" he asked casually.

"Sebastian, we need to talk," Helena stated flatly.

"Alright," he replied, unfazed.

But he cast a sidelong glance toward where Skye was sitting before looking back at her. "You want to talk right now?"

They weren't very far from the dining table.
