He Never Loved Me Until the Day I Finally Left Him novel Chapter 982

Finally, Julian fell silent.

Sebastian waited patiently for Julian's answer.

"Where is she!" Julian demanded sharply, his tone signaling his surrender.

"Aren't you already in the Capital?" Sebastian arched an eyebrow. "I'll tell you the exact location once I'm inside. After all, there isn't exactly a wealth of trust between us, is there?"

Julian's expression darkened further, but he turned and led Sebastian toward the Everett estate.

Before Lance and Helena could even reach them, they saw Julian escorting Sebastian straight through the front gates.

Both of them stopped dead in their tracks.

"Did Julian seriously just bring him inside?" Lance was visibly stunned.

Helena couldn't process it either. It felt utterly absurd.

There was no universe where Julian would compromise with Sebastian.

What on earth did Sebastian say to him?

"Let's go back inside and see what happens," Lance suggested practically.

Helena nodded.

The two quickly slipped back through the side door.

When Julian walked in with Sebastian, the entire Everett family was caught off guard.

Alistair Everett took one look and didn't say a word.

Instead, when Sebastian saw Alistair, he greeted him with flawless politeness. "Sir."

Alistair: "..."

Bound by the rules of hospitality, Alistair couldn't exactly throw a tantrum at Sebastian.

After all, he was technically a guest now.

"I don't recall extending an invitation to you, Mr. Hayes," Alistair said, his voice laced with ice as he let out a scoff.

"True, I wasn't invited," Sebastian smiled easily. "But thanks to Mr. Campbell, I took the liberty of showing myself in."

Sebastian's delivery was incredibly slick.

Given that it was the holidays, Alistair couldn't realistically kick him to the curb.

Sebastian didn't even give Alistair a chance to argue.

Instead, he held out the impeccably wrapped gift he had prepared. "A small token of my respect for the New Year."

Alistair opened his mouth, fully intending to reject it.

But the moment he laid eyes on the gift, the words died in his throat.

Alistair had a weakness for rare teacups.

And the pair Sebastian was holding was an absolute rarity, completely out of production.
