He Scheduled Me Mon-Wed For Her Thu-Sat For Me novel Chapter 9

Chapter 9

‘So this was all your plan. GRoss.’ Adrian’s eyes were dark and gloomy.

“I just wanted a better life and a stronger man to back me. What’s so wrong with that?”

“Still makes more sense than a pathetic cheating bastard who got hooked with one little glance and couldn’t keep his hands off his fiancée’s best friend.”

His fists clenched so hard the veins stood out.

That only made her crueler.

“Oh, what is this?” she taunted. “Now you want to act like some heartbroken lover? Disgusting.”

She jabbed a finger into his chest again and again. “You betrayed and lied to her.”

“You slept with me behind her back. You forced her into a divorce. And after that, every single time, you

chose me and hurt her. I didn’t make you do any of it.”

“That was all you.”

Then she shook her head slowly. “Knowing Audrey, there’s no fixing this. You and she? Never.”

“Shut up.”

The words came out through gritted teeth.

The moment he lifted one hand, the bodyguards moved at once.

Sienna’s face changed. “What are you doing? This is still a country with laws.”

Adrian actually laughed.

He looked down at her like she was an insect.

“Stupid. In this city, I make the rules.”

He smiled then, but there was no warmth in it. “I’m going to teach you what ‘worse than death’ really means.”

He tilted his head toward his men. “Take her to Blackwater Cay. Whether she lives or dies after that depends

on her luck.”

Blackwater Cay sat near the equator, buried in dense jungle, crawling with predators, a place people

whispered about and rarely returned from.

The second she heard where she was going, the blood drained from Sienna’s face.

She fought wildly, choking out broken sounds through her tears.

Yet Adrian couldn’t care less-he decided her future with just a casual remark.

Then his men dragged her away.

When the room finally went quiet, he stood there alone.

And for the first time, he seemed unable to understand how he had ended up here.

He had trusted the wrong woman.

And destroyed the one person who had loved him with her whole mind.

His fingers shook as he called his secretary. “Find her.”

The man sounded confused. “Find who, sir?”

The phone fell to the ground and snapped open with a crack.

The secretary’s voice became intermittent.

Then Adrian snatched it back up. “Find Audrey!”

The secretary fell silent for half a beat. “But sir… you and Mrs. Sterling already…”

Divorced?

Under Adrian’s ragged breathing, he swallowed the rest.

The first day, they found nothing.

The second day, still nothing.

The third. The fourth. The fifth…

On the thirty-seventh day, the secretary finally said as gently as he could, “Mr. Sterling… Mrs. Sterling may not

want to see you again.”

Adrian kept insisting he keep searching! He searched day after day, each time answering the phone with trembling hands, asking how things were.

But every time, the result was disappointing.

He visited every place they had ever been, from the chapel to the amusement park, and even every spot she had ever said she wanted to see.

And with each empty stop, memory cut deeper.
