Chapter 4
Leaving the property office, I returned to work in a daze.
Sitting at my desk, I stared at my phone for what felt like hours.
I kept thinking about why my attempt to catch them had failed today.
The mistress had fled right after I got home. What did that tell me?
It meant she already knew my whereabouts.
How could she know? I looked at this “new” secondhand phone.
No wonder Dorian had given me this used phone–it was to track my location.
That afternoon, the iPhone 16 Plus appeared again.
Ha! Dorian really couldn’t wait even a minute!
I deliberately left my phone at my desk and rushed home.
I refuse to believe I can’t catch you this time!
I raced home, taking the elevator up at lightning speed.
But when I arrived, I found only a drowsy–looking Dorian.
He rubbed his eyes. “Victoria Sterling, why are you back again?”
I searched everywhere once more but still found no one.
This was absolutely fucking unreal!
I’d clearly left my phone at the office–how could they still know in advance?
I hurried back to the company.
As soon as I arrived, Emma whispered to me, “Victoria, why didn’t you take your phone when you left? The boss was looking for you earlier and got really angry when he couldn’t find you.”
I sighed and went straight to the boss’s office for a scolding.
“Boss, I was downstairs getting coffee.”
After enduring his lecture, I swallowed my pride and requested a day off.
Dorian had been pent up all day–he was bound to make a move tomorrow.
Early the next morning, I gave the new phone to a colleague and asked her to take it to the office for me.
I switched back to using my old phone.
I stationed myself behind our building, staring at my phone, waiting for that iPhone 16 Plus to appear again.

Chapter 4
I refuse to believe I can’t catch this person today.
But I waited from dawn to dusk, and the person never showed up.
I felt an unprecedented sense of defeat.
But if they weren’t using the new phone to track my location, how else were they monitoring my movements?
On the third day, I had no choice but to go to work.
The moment my butt hit my office chair, that iPhone 16 Plus appeared again.
I shouted into our group chat: “ACTION!”
Being cuckolded was humiliating, but it had to be dealt with!
I’d rallied all my childhood friends, positioning them around the area.
At my signal, they would block both my apartment door and the main entrance to the building.
This cheating bitch might be able to monitor my location, but she surely couldn’t monitor my friends‘ whereabouts.
I rushed home, determined to see exactly who this mistress was!
When I reached my front door, my girlfriends were all trying to calm me down.
“Victoria Sterling, you need to stay composed. No man is worth this!”
I took a deep breath and pushed open my front door.
But the result disappointed me once again–after searching every room in the house, there was still only Dorian!
