Chapter 7
The hotel’s main hall had a massive screen. It was usually rented out for weddings, so the space was huge.
I tested the microphone. “Welcome, everyone. Please take a seat.”
Security pushed the two of them onto the stage. The rest of the crowd filed in and sat down.
Mira, in the control room, hit play. The screen lit up with photos–me and Finley in college, our wedding pictures.
I took a breath, then spoke into the mic.
“Everyone, this man is my legal husband. We’ve been together seven years.”
The screen shifted to a slideshow of bank transfers–thousands here, tens of thousands there. Seven years‘ worth, sent like clockwork every few days.
Then came the gifts. Ten sports cars. Designer clothes, custom tailored. Converted to cash? Tens of millions.
“I thought I did everything right. But I was wrong. Men don’t cheat because you’re not enough–they cheat because you haven’t caught them yet.”
The crowd murmured. A few people cursed under their breath.
Finley, still pinned by security, finally snapped.
He thrashed against the guards. “Petra, you’re insane! You’ve destroyed everything! My career, my life–over what? A mistake?!”
‘Every man screws up! But you? You’re so cold, so controlling–no wonder I looked elsewhere! This is on you!”
I glanced at the guard. His hand shot up–smack–the sound echoed through the hall.
Finley’s face swelled red instantly, eyes blazing, fists clenched.
Sienna threw her arms around him, sobbing. She pointed at me, voice shrill. “This is why Finley doesn’t love you! You’re a shrew!”
narrowed my eyes.
Another dull thud. Sienna’s head snapped to the side, a bright red handprint blooming on her cheek. She collapsed.
Without those two flies buzzing, the room felt quieter.
The hall went silent. Then thunderous applause broke out.
But this was just the warm–up.
Cheating? That just made him trash. People would gossip and move on.
needed to make everyone HATE HIM.

He Thought I’d Crv? 1 Broadcast Their Affair
Chapter 7
Finley was a teacher. Sienna was a parent. The biggest beneficiary? Tina, the teacher’s mistress’s daughter.
According to my research, Tina’s grades used to be mediocre–below average, actually.
But after Finley and Sienna started their affair? Her scores skyrocketed.
Crestwood Prep had top–tier resources. National competitions, high–stakes exams–all written by Prep teachers.
Tina won first place again and again. Scholarships piled up. Certificates stacked high..
All because of leaked test questions.
She was stealing what belonged to others.
While other students stayed up late studying, grinding through practice problems, Tina just had to spread her mom’s legs and coast to
success.
Mira had combed through hours of footage and found the proof.
The video played. Finley’s office. Tina leaning over his desk, grinning. “Thanks to you, Mr. Hayes, I got first place again.”
“Those idiots couldn’t solve the hard problems if their lives depended on it. I finished in five minutes.”
Finley let out a low chuckle. “No matter how hard they study, it won’t matter. Should’ve been born into a better family.”
